Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - DJINN OSHANNUS the last standing Monster made me Happy
Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I a here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, today I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Since this is a random battle, I would be making use of any maybe a good battle of mine. Let's see how it goes in this post guys.
I used my account @abu78 in participating in this battle. I am currently playing in the Gold stage. Before I demonstrate my battle here, let's briefly look into the Rulesets of the gameplay that I would be displaying here.
Three Rulesets Battle
| Ruleset Icon | Description |
|---|---|
| All monsters have thorns ability. This indicates that when a monster is hit with a Melee attack, it does damage back to the attacker | |
| Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles. There are no special tricks for this ruleset, but having an idea of mana points of a few monsters helps in predicting what your opponent can and cannot use | |
| This indicates that monster's attacks hit a random enemy target |

Summoner:
I chose Kelya Frendul; summoner so that my monsters would get an increase in armor and speed. It was a 16-mana game condition and I have to manage my card selection to suit that. In using the Kelya Frendul, I decided to get cards that have small mana size and also effective in attacking as well.
1st Position:
Torrent Fend, this card is zero mana card and it has a speed of 2 and 1 melee attack damage. I placed it in the first position so that it can attack the first monster from my opponent.
This was going to be a competitive battle once I saw the prediction win percentage from splintertools It was a 50%, 50% win probability for both of us. I doubted my win though, but at the end of the battle I won it.
Round 1:
My monster, Djinn Oshannus attack first and did one magic damage to my opponent’s ravenhood warden’s monster. It was followed by Igor Darkspear monster from my cards which also did one ranged attack damage to the first card of my opponent. Venari Bonesmith monster of my opponent attack me and increased live plus one as it is a life leech monster. At the end of the first round my card at the first position was killed and gone. Similarly I was also able to kill his first position monster.
Round 2:
In the next round, I was able to inflict one magic attack damage to his wily coyotian monster at the first position. He then attacked me and kill my Igor Darkspear monster. I was left with just two more monsters and he was still having four monsters in his line up. I became nervous and was like, I have lost it like that.
Round 3:
In this round, my xenith archer monster was also killed and I was just left with one more monster (Djinn Oshannus) to go. It was left with nine more lives left on it and my opponent was still having 4 monsters.
Round 4:
In this round, I attack first and was able to kill his monster at the first poison, he then inflicted my monster with two damages from two of his cards that attacks by range.
Round 5 to 12:
Djinn Oshannus monster was left with 7 lives in this round. It was able to battle through till round 12 and won the battle by defeating all three monsters of my opponent. There were a lot of misses from my opponent’s monsters and that was what really saved my ass. I would have been defeated with ease. That was a great battle by the way.
My last monster was really a great one and it was able to fight four monters and emerge victorious. That was really a superb fight.
The battle in which I wasn't expecting a win, but luckily on my side, I won with it. That was an amazing battle for me and I know you guys would be amazed to see me winning this great battle.
Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
