Faces and traces of autumn
The universe is so wise, that day by day it teaches us
The abrupt and tenuous changes of our nature
Only when we open our eyes, we detect the great sun.
A strange cold begins, so we wrap up warm
The green and leafy tree, sheds its leaves
prepares itself and undresses, though sometimes blushes
Some look pure green, and in various hues
Some change colors, before losing their branches.
Those that change to pink are different species
They go from yellow green to purple, which makes you feel tender
The leafy banana trees adorn squares and parks
Competing with the pines, strong and powerful.
My grandmother advised, you have to be thankful
The summer was very rough, and autumn is blessed
The harvests are blessed, and the collection of flowers is blessed
Stones, fruits and parched leaves are collected
in the homes are placed in a special place, verse
For providing abundance in crops and bread.
A few days before winter I dedicate this lesson to you
I show you my Buenos Aires, city of my heart
Although I am from Venezuela, I recognize my emotion
Changes are welcome, to prepare ourselves nothing costs.
In the changing seasons, I prefer spring
I find it exciting, watching the stars twinkle
The baker's whistle looking to build its nest
Visiting the rose gardens and so many beautiful places
But winter is coming, I'll have to buy a warm coat
To enjoy the skies of this Argentine country.
