Una mañana muy tranquila desperté como todos los días de mi pequeña y corta vida, pues si, tengo una corta vida ya que soy una perrita chiquita de apenas dos meses, como llegué al bosque no lo sé, mi mamá antes de irse a un lugar donde no le hacen daño a los perritos me dijo que unos humanos nos habían dejado allí cuando apenas yo tenía unas pocas horas de vida.
Así que antes de irse me dijo que tenía que cuidarme sola, aprender a sobrevivir y sobre todo no confiar en los humanos, los cuales no sé quiénes son.
Luego de estirarme y dar unas vueltecitas me levanté a dar mi paseo matutino, mis tripas sonaban mucho tenía hambre, solo pensaba en tomar lechita calientita y quién mejor para darme pues mi amiga nube la cabrita del bosque.
Buenos días, amiga nube que bello sol nos irradia.
Buenos días mi pequeña Anubis, contesto. Qué haces tan temprano por estás laderas.
Tengo unas tripitas comiéndome la pancita, será que me puede regalar algo de lechita.
jajajajajaja sabía que venías por eso, respondió nube la cabrita.
Me regalas un poquito
Claro ven a desayunar, pero con la condición de que no me muerdas, si lo haces te doy de patadas.
Tranquila mi amiga, haré todo lo que pueda para no molestar.
Uhmmm que rica lechita pensaba mientras comía, esa tranquilidad se rompió con un revolotear de pájaros chillando que corrieran a la colina.
Mi amiga Nube me dijo vamos Anubis a ver qué pasa, corramos a la colina, no amiga Nube allí el rey Tuercas no me quiere ver, dice que soy una molestia y que mejor estaría en su barriga.
Jajajaja - se ríe Nube - vamos te quedas conmigo, no dejaré que nada te pase pequeña.
Al llegar a la colina estaban todos reunidos, me asusté al ver todos juntos los pájaros chillones, estaban la familia de cocodrilos, mandriles, habían unos jabalíes, muchos monos, estaban más cabras como nubes, estaban unos que no conocía como unos osos, una pantera, atlas entre otros más.
Todos hablaban y decían que la habían visto por el río, otros decían que no, andaba por la ladera, otros decían que caminaba en círculo, no entendía de que hablaban, le pregunté a Nube y me dijo no se a quién se refiere pero parece que alguien se perdió.
El león tuercas - usaba ese nombre porqué cargaba algo redondo en su cuello que le decían tuercas.
Todo quedó en silencio, el león empezó a decir que había movimiento en el bosque, al parecer se había perdido una humana, yo me aferre a las patas de Nube y ella voltio y me dijo que haces me duele, me estás apretando.
Nube, Nube tengo miedo, tengo miedo. Que te pasa Anubis porque lo dices, mi mamita antes de partir me dijo que no confiara en los humanos, por eso tengo miedo.
No te preocupes Anubis quédate junto a mi que ambas nos cuidaremos.
En eso Tuercas el león se dió cuenta de la presencia de Anubis y lanzó un fuerte rugido que toda la colina quedó en silencio.
Que haces tú aquí - grito tuercas, todos voltearon hacia donde miraba el león y me vieron debajo de las patas de Nube, mi amiga respondió con viva voz diciendo Yo lo traje tuercas, a lo que el responde no te pregunté a ti.
Vuelvo a preguntar qué haces tú aquí, deberías estar más bien en mi panza jajajajajajaja, después todos empezaron a reír.
Me sentí tan pequeña que solo pude esconder mi colita entre mis patas, solo pude balbucear y decir no quiero que vengan los humanos.
Todos empezaron a reir, cuando de repente llega uno de los monos enviado por tuercas para averiguar qué pasaba.
Tuercas, tuercas, tuercas dice el mono mandilón se perdió una niña humana y muchos están empezando a salir a buscarla.
Bravo dice Tuercas, escuchen todos vamos a ubicar a esa humana antes que los de su especie la encuentre.
Y para que quieres que la encontremos Tuerca, pregunto Nube, a lo que tuerca con viva voz dice por qué será mi cena después de haberme comido a tu amiguita Anubis jajajajajaja
En ese momento Tuercas se lanza sobre Anibus, la cuál pudo escapar de esas garras y correr por el bosque.
La pequeña Anubis caminaba triste y acongojada porque no sabía a dónde ir ya que se la querían comer.
Pensaba y pensaba caminando sin rumbo cuando de repente escucha un llanto y le llama la atención y empieza a caminar hacia donde se escucha el ruido, al llegar vi a una pequeña cosa a la que le salía agua de sus ojos.
No sabía que cosa era esa, solo la miraba y sentía algo extraño, quería ir a darle lamidas en esa agüita que salía de sus ojos.
Me acerque con cuidado, cuando me miro se asusto, yo también me asusté pero luego me miro y se sonrió, no sabía por qué lo hacía pero la miraba y me gustaba ver sus dientes tan chiquitos como los míos, pensé no me comerá.
Al acercarme más empecé a lamer su rostro que se veía un poco sucio y esa cosa me abrazo contra si al principio quería correr pero luego sentí algo tan bonito que me quedé junto a ella.
No entendía lo que me decía ya que hablaba muy rápido, pero me gustaba estar allí.
De repente por dentro de las ramas de los árboles se escucha que viene alguien y era mandilón que al vernos alertó a tuercas el gran león.
De repente llegó Tuercas cansado de tanto correr y al vernos saco su gran lengua que paso por toda su gran boca y dijo - que tenemos aquí, mi almuerzo junto a mi cena, creo comerme a la primero a la humana y luego a esta linda cachorrita jajajaja.
En eso entendí esta cosa es un humano no puede ser, pero si se siente tan bonito, pero mi mamita me dijo que no confiara en ella me sentía confundida, luego salí de mi pensamiento al escuchar a tuercas rugir.
La humana estaba de pie mirando a tuercas y seguía saliendo agua de sus ojos, no entendía que pasaba pero sentía que debía defender a esa cosa.
Tuercas al ver que me coloque en frente de esa humana, empezó a reírse a carcajadas y a decir no puede ser tu enana vas a defender a esa humana, me das risa primero te comeré a ti.
-- No me comerás primero voy a defender a esta cosa y lucharé por mi.
-- Me das risa pero si así lo quieres vamos a pelear.
De repente todos los animales que estaban en la colina llegaron y empezaron a gritar y Tuercas se abalanzó sobre mi y me dio un fuerte golpe que me dejó malherida frente a la cosa humana.
Cuanto fue atacar a la humana se escuchó un ruido tan fuerte que al mirar ví a Tuercas frente a la humana caer muy cerca y el resto de los animales empezaron a correr trate de levantarme pero no lo logre, empezaron a llegar más cosas humanas como la que estaba allí y mis ojos se cerraron.
Al despertar, me encontré en un sitio calientito y unos olores que hacían que mis tripitas retumbaran tan fuerte que me daban hasta miedo, al mirar a mi alrededor no sabía dónde estaba, pude ver y escuchar a la cosa esa decir, papá papá ya despertó.
Entonces llegaron dos humanos grandes y me tomaron y me dijeron ya estás mejor pequeña gracias por acompañar a nuestra hija Osiris, de ahora en adelante serán grandes compañeras
No sabía a qué se refería, solo sé que ya no tendría más hambre, ni sed. Que sentiría esa cosa tan bonito cuando la cosa humana y los otros dos me tomaban entre sus brazos.
Muchas veces pienso en mi amiga Nube y su rica lechita, también en mi mamita que por culpa de unos humanos malos no conoció lo bonito que es sentirse querida y cuidada por ellos.

One very quiet morning I woke up as I do every day of my little and short life, because yes, I have a short life since I am a tiny puppy of just two months old, how I got to the forest I do not know, my mom before leaving to a place where they don't harm puppies told me that some humans had left us there when I was just a few hours old.
So before leaving, she told me that I had to take care of myself, learn to survive and above all not to trust humans, whom I don't know who they are.
After stretching and taking a few turns, I got up to take my morning walk, my tummy was rumbling a lot, I was hungry, I just thought about having some warm milk and who better to give me that than my friend Cloud, the goat of the forest.
"Good morning, friend Cloud, what a beautiful sun shines on us," I said.
"Good morning, my little Anubis," Cloud replied. "What are you doing so early on these slopes?"
"I have some hungry little belly grumblings, could you give me some milk?" I asked.
"Hahahaha, I knew you were coming for that," Cloud the goat replied.
"Will you give me a little?" I asked.
"Of course, come and have breakfast, but with the condition that you don't bite me, if you do, I'll kick you," Cloud said.
"Don't worry, my friend, I'll do my best not to bother you," I assured her.
Mmm, I thought as I drank the delicious milk, that tranquility was interrupted by a fluttering of squawking birds that flew to the hill.
My friend Cloud said, "Let's go, Anubis, let's see what's happening, let's run to the hill." "No, friend Cloud, the king Nuts doesn't want to see me there, he says I'm a nuisance and that I'd be better off in his belly."
"Hahaha," Cloud laughed, "come, stay with me, I won't let anything happen to you, little one."
When we arrived at the hill, everyone was gathered. I got scared seeing all the squawking birds together; there were crocodile families, mandrills, wild boars, many monkeys, more goats like Cloud, some I didn't know like bears, a panther, Atlas, among others.
They were all talking and saying they had seen someone by the river, others said no, she had walked along the slope, others said she was walking in circles. I didn't understand what they were talking about, so I asked Cloud, and she said she didn't know who they were referring to but it seemed like someone was lost.
The lion Nuts used that name because he carried something round on his neck called nuts.
Everything went silent, the lion started to say that there was movement in the forest, apparently a human was lost. I clung to Cloud's legs, and she turned and said, "What are you doing, you're hurting me, you're squeezing me."
"Cloud, Cloud, I'm scared, I'm scared. What's wrong, Anubis, why do you say that?" said Cloud. My mommy told me before leaving not to trust humans, that's why I'm scared.
"Don't worry, Anubis, stay with me, and we'll both take care of each other."
At that moment, Nuts, the lion, noticed Anubis's presence and let out a loud roar that silenced the whole hill.
"What are you doing here?" Nuts shouted. Everyone turned to where the lion was looking, and they saw me under Cloud's legs. My friend replied loudly, "I brought him here, Nuts," to which he answered, "I didn't ask you."
I ask again what are you doing here, you should rather be in my belly hahahahahaha, then everyone started laughing.
I felt so small that I could only hide my tail between my legs, I could only stammer and say I don't want the humans to come.
Everyone started laughing, when suddenly one of the monkeys sent by Tuercas arrived to find out what was going on.
Tuercas, Tuercas, Tuercas says the bossy monkey a human girl is missing and many are starting to go out to look for her.
Bravo says Tuercas, listen everyone let's locate that human before her kind finds her.
And why do you want us to find her, Tuerca asked Nube, to which Tuercas says loudly because she will be my dinner after I have eaten your friend Anubis hahahahahaha
At that moment Tuercas lunges at Anubis, who managed to escape those claws and run through the forest.
Little Anubis walked sadly and distressed because she didn't know where to go as they wanted to eat her.
He thought and thought as he walked aimlessly when suddenly he heard a cry that caught his attention, and he started walking towards where the sound was coming from. Upon arrival, he saw a little thing that had water coming out of its eyes.
He didn't know what that thing was, he just looked at it and felt something strange, he wanted to lick that little water coming out of its eyes.
He approached carefully, when it looked at him, it got scared, and he got scared too, but then it looked at him and smiled, he didn't know why but he liked looking at its tiny teeth, like his own, he thought it wouldn't eat me.
As he got closer, he started licking its slightly dirty face, and that thing hugged him at first he wanted to run but then felt something so beautiful that he stayed with it.
He didn't understand what it was saying as it spoke very fast, but he liked being there.
Suddenly from within the branches of the trees, someone was coming, and it was Mandilón who, upon seeing us, alerted Tuercas the great lion.
Suddenly, Tuercas arrived, tired from running so much, and upon seeing us, he stuck out his big tongue that passed over his entire big mouth and said - what do we have here, my lunch with my dinner, I think I will eat the human first and then this cute little puppy, hahaha.
That's when I understood this thing is a human, it can't be, but it feels so nice, but my mommy told me not to trust it, I felt confused, then I snapped out of my thoughts upon hearing Tuercas roar.
The human was standing looking at Tuercas and water kept coming out of its eyes, I didn't understand what was happening but felt like I needed to defend that thing.
Tuercas, upon seeing me stand in front of that human, started laughing out loud and said it can't be, you little one, you're going to defend that human, you make me laugh, first, I will eat you.
-- You won't eat me, first I will defend this thing and fight for myself.
-- You make me laugh, but if that's what you want, let's fight.
Suddenly, all the animals on the hill arrived and started shouting, and Tuercas lunged at me and hit me so hard that I was left injured in front of the human thing.
When he was about to attack the human, a loud noise was heard, and when I looked, I saw Tuercas fall very close to the human, and the rest of the animals started running. I tried to get up but couldn't, more humans like the one that was there started arriving, and my eyes closed.
Upon waking up, I found myself in a warm place with smells that made my tummy rumble so loud that it even scared me, looking around I didn't know where I was, I could see and hear that thing saying, dad dad she's awake.
Then two big humans arrived, they took me and said, you're better now, little one, thank you for accompanying our daughter, Osiris, from now on you will be great companions.
I didn't know what they meant, I just knew that I wouldn't be hungry or thirsty anymore. I would feel that nice thing when the human thing and the other two held me in their arms.
Often, I think of my friend Nube and her delicious milk, also of my mom who, because of some bad humans, didn't get to know how nice it is to feel loved and cared for by them.
