Y si tuviera que elegirte, no te mentiré, tal vez escogería otra opción más sencilla porque llegar a tí me costó mucho, tanto, que a veces siento que fue demasiado para lo que obtuve.
Tenerte me ha hecho ser mejor ser humano, me ha hecho crecer desde muchos puntos de vista, ver el mundo desde una perspectiva más amplia de la que muchos pueden tener.
Crecer a tu lado me ha llenado de muchos momentos de felicidad, me ha permitido darle sentido a algo que creí haber perdido, me has acompañado en malos y buenos momentos.
Pero, por muy buenos que hayan sido esos momentos, nuevamente, no te mentiré, si tuviera que elegir otra vez, definitivamente no te elegiría a tí.
Porque aprendí que todo eso que obtuve pude haberlo tenido escogiendo otra opción, una más fácil, una que no me enfermara tanto, ni que fuera tan difícil.
Porque al final somos nosotros mismos quienes desarrollamos nuestro camino, somos quienes decidimos que aprender, que guardar para nosotros y que desechar.
Lo que realmente importan son tus valores y tus ganas de aprender, sea en el mejor lugar o el peor, somos nosotros los que decidimos si sacamos lo mejor de cualquier situación.
Ahora creo firmemente que es a partir de nuestros principios que decidimos todo, somos los creadores de nuestro mundo a partir de nuestros planes y objetivos y esfuerzo en cumplirlos.
Pero para todo esto necesitamos una buena formación, una que nos hayan inculcado desde pequeños, una que nos motive a ser mejores personas cada vez y mejores en lo que sea que nos desempeñemos.
Ahora les pregunto a ustedes ¿Si tuvieran la opción de desarrollar todo su potencial y alcanzar las metas que siempre quisieron ¿no preferirías el camino más sencillo? ¿antes que uno que te haga daño, que te haga más fuerte, pero que obtengas lo mismo?
Por mucho que ahora mismo tenga toda la madurez que alcancé por todo lo que he aprendido a través del paso del tiempo y mi esfuerzo, sigo pensando que si pudiera retroceder y llegar a ese pasado donde debí escoger, definitivamente no lo haría, no volvería a pasar por lo mismo, otra vez.
Nada de esto quiere decir que no esté agradecida con lo que soy hoy, con como vencí mis adversidades, con todo lo que logré, con la fortaleza que alcancé, al contrario.
Pero si tuviera que enseñarle a alguien más, solo le recomendaría que viviera su vida enfocándose solo en ser feliz, porque, si bien el esfuerzo es importante, nada vale tanto en este mundo, como la felicidad y la tranquilidad.
Sé que muchos pensarán diferente, pero recuerden que todos pensamos en base a nuestras vivencias, aprendizajes y crecimiento personal, así que, que no nos importe pensar diferente y cambiar de parecer en un futuro si nos parece, otra vez.
And if I had to choose you, I won't lie to you, maybe I would choose another simpler option because getting to you cost me a lot, so much, that sometimes I feel it was too much for what I got.
Having you has made me a better human being, it has made me grow from many points of view, to see the world from a wider perspective than many can have.
Growing up by your side has filled me with many moments of happiness, it has allowed me to give meaning to something I thought I had lost, you have accompanied me in bad and good times.
But, as good as those moments were, again, I won't lie to you, if I had to choose again, I definitely wouldn't choose you.
Because I learned that all that I got I could have had by choosing another option, an easier one, one that didn't make me so sick, or so difficult.
Because in the end we are the ones who develop our own path, we are the ones who decide what to learn, what to keep for ourselves and what to discard.
What really matters are your values and your desire to learn, whether in the best place or the worst, we are the ones who decide if we get the best out of any situation.
Now I firmly believe that it is from our principles that we decide everything, we are the creators of our world from our plans and goals and effort to fulfill them.
But for all this we need a good formation, one that has been instilled in us since we were children, one that motivates us to be better people every time and better in whatever we do.
Now I ask you, if you had the option to develop your full potential and achieve the goals you always wanted, wouldn't you prefer the simplest path, rather than one that hurts you, that makes you stronger, but you get the same thing?
As much as right now I have all the maturity I have reached because of everything I have learned through the passage of time and my effort, I still think that if I could go back and get to that past where I should have chosen, I definitely would not do it, I would not go through the same thing again.
None of this is to say that I am not grateful with who I am today, with how I overcame my adversities, with all that I achieved, with the strength I reached, on the contrary.
But if I had to teach someone else, I would only recommend them to live their life focusing only on being happy, because, although effort is important, nothing is worth as much in this world as happiness and peace of mind.
I know that many will think differently, but remember that we all think based on our experiences, learning and personal growth, so, don't mind thinking differently and change your mind in the future if you feel like it, again.
