¡INTENSO, INTENSO, INTENSO!

INTENSE, INTENSE, INTENSE!
I start out feeling like I'm destined to live away from happiness. Almost as if it's forbidden to me, as if I don't deserve it, and when I'm close to touching it, possessing it, feeling it, you come and snatch it from my hands, take it away in your cage, where you wave that feeling what little bait you love to show off.
So I beg you, please don't let me taste it. Do not let my lips feel the sweet taste of joy, nor let my heart feel the warmth of love, nor let my soul be nourished by that bliss, for then I will not be able to live without it afterwards. For my feelings are strong and I live my emotions to the extreme, and I do not want to experience the terrible and hellish pain of not having happiness by the hand.
I swear to God and everything earthly that I can't, no matter how hard I try, stop being intense. I know it affects me, because no one will be as clinging, desperate and caught in the trap of happiness and love, as I am; I know it only affects me. If I could, I would put a regulator, pause or brake on it, I would look for ways to calm the fire that lives inside me that clings to the search for stability that I can't reach. But I cannot, I am intense.
An entry in my diary, a writing on an old leaf and put in a bottle that will be released into the sea of oblivion, or maybe just a text that I share with the world, full of my feelings. A cry into the void, of that I am sure, a great guttural cry that I release from my guts and let it hit the walls of my interior, in search of recovering, of liberating, of improving, or, ultimately, of touching happiness again.
But I do deserve it, because I have felt happiness, in his perfect smile, in the laughter with my sister, in the music that releases my tears. I know I deserve to be happy, because I am, a few times, like when he tells me I love you, or when I hug my mom, when I wake up talking to my best friends. I will deserve it every day, even if it's just touching a little bit of the happiness you keep trapped in your cage, because I will keep hearing my boyfriend's voice tell me "I love you", because every day my dad gives me a cup of coffee, because I am happy when I run and the wind whips my face.
I end up feeling that I am destined to live dancing with happiness.
