En un pueblito muy pintoresco llamado Cantaura viven los señores Laura y Mauro, son un matrimonio con dos hijos grandes que llevan por nombre Gabriel y Carolina; sin esperar llega un nuevo embarazo, sería su tercera hija, aunque conmocionó al matrimonio la aceptaron con amor. Antes de nacer deciden mudarse a otro estado de la región para tener a su nueva hija y darle mejor calidad de vida a la familia; al nacer le ponen por nombre Camila una niña que llegó para cambiar su mundo y ellos llenarla de amor.

Ella creció siendo feliz y consentida por todos. Al pasar de los años en su sector se muda un chico que se convierte en el mejor amigo de su hermano Gabriel, es un chico tímido pero muy amable que tiene por nombre Eduardo sin embargo entre Camila y Eduardo no surge una amistad, ni siquiera un saludo por educación ya que los dos eran callados y existía como cierta tensión.

Pasan los años, la amistad entre Gabriel y Eduardo se fortalece cada vez más llegando este a fomentar una relación cercana con toda la familia, irse de viaje todos juntos, disfrutar hasta navidades sin embargo con Camila la relación continua igual.

Camila se entera de que Eduardo tiene una novia ya que este se lo confiesa sin embargo le asegura que terminará con ella para comenzar una nueva relación con Camila, pasan varios meses y este le dice que ya está soltero que si quiere que sea su novia; Camila sin pensarlo dos veces le dice muy emocionada que ¡Sí!.

Comienzan su relación que lamentablemente desde un principio se ha tornado un poco tormentosa, llena de desconfianza, celos, prohibiciones pero Camila decide ayudarlo a manejar todas estas emociones logrando en él, el cambio que ella tanto esperaba. Pasaron los años y tenían una buena relación pero de repente Eduardo comienza a cambiar nuevamente pero está vez quedándose sin motivación para salir adelante.
