Greetings friends and the whole Hive community! Night photography? Sure, but here we go with a somewhat daring test for me. Generally when I use my camera to shoot Buenos Aires city streets or urban night photography it is necessary at least for me to use a tripod since I shoot with long exposure, this means that the shutter speed is slow and the camera needs to be as stable as possible.
Nowadays I don't have a tripod at hand and I decided to take the pictures only with my pulse and it's worth mentioning that it's not that good 🤣 many people do it and I think they have a stone pulse but it's not my case. Here is some of the long exposure test photos without tripod.
Saludos amigos y a toda la comunidad de Hive! Fotografías nocturnas? Claro, pero acá vamos con una prueba un tanto atrevida para mí. Generalmente cuando utilizo mi cámara para fotografiar las calle de la ciudad de Buenos Aires o hacer fotografías nocturnas urbanas es necesario al menos para mí usar un trípode ya que las realizo en larga exposición, esto significa que la velocidad de obturación es lenta y necesita la cámara estar lo más estable posible.
Hoy en día no cuento con un trípode a la mano y decidí tomar las fotos solo con mi pulso y cabe destacar que no es tan bueno 🤣 muchas personas lo hacen y pienso que tienen un pulso de piedra pero no es mi caso. Acá está algunas de las fotos de prueba de larga exposición sin trípode.
I took these photos in the neighborhood of Recoleta where I show you in the background the popular metallic flower called Floralis Generica, as well as the imposing structure of the building that houses the law school. Doing several tests, some of them holding the camera on my own or others resting it on the ground, obviously being very careful.
The shutter of the camera is so sensitive that just by pressing the shutter release button I could move the camera and with this generate some movement in the photo and thus lose the focus and I think it happened to me, that is why when we use a tripod a good option is also to use a remote shutter release that allows us to take the shot by pressing the shutter release button without having to touch the camera.
Éstas fotos las tomé en el barrio de recoleta dónde les muestro al fondo la popular flor metálica llamada Floralis Genérica, así como también de la imponente estructura del edificio que alberga la facultad de derecho. Haciendo varias pruebas, unas de ellas sosteniendo por mi propia cuenta la cámara o otras apoyándola en el suelo, obviamente teniendo mucho cuidado.
El obturador de la cámara es tan sensible que simplemente con solo apretar para accionar el disparo podría mover la cámara y con esto generar cierto movimiento en la foto y de esta forma perder el enfoque y creo que me sucedió, es por ello que cuando usamos un trípode una buena opción es además utilizar un disparador automático remoto que nos permite realizar la toma accionando el botón de disparar sin tener que tocar la cámara.
Little by little we will be developing more tests but next time it will be with a tripod and a remote shutter release 🔥 we will also cover other styles such as bokeh that allows us to obtain quite interesting and attractive results.
