Domes and Towers of Buenos Aires.

Today I want to share a series of photos a little different. Some time ago I had the idea of making editions or themes that are related to the domes of Buenos Aires, possibly also including towers and taking advantage of the fact that the city offers a lot of this.

The architecture of the buildings that are in the Federal Capital are beautiful, we have different styles, some are national historical heritage and others are not... but they have endured through the years and it is what gives the city its wonderful touch.

Yesterday I was in the popular Plaza de Mayo, I had a lens with a good focal length and I decided to do a little test.

This is the tower of the Legislature Palace, a building that goes unnoticed except for its tower and it is so great to be able to see the details very closely that cannot be clearly seen with the naked eye.

Over the years and through photography I have seen some of these buildings and I can describe what they are. When you look at them from this perspective I immerse myself in history and can think of the work that went into building these structures a century or more ago.

This building is the municipal palace but I took the photo from the side.

If you look closely or zoom in on this photo you can see the details of the tower's relief. Once during a guided tour they told me that these reliefs were built with the intention that the snow would go down and not accumulate there but in Buenos Aires there is no snow, They were European architectural designs that also carried out.

This is the tower of the Uruguayan Argentine Bank building, headquarters of the Head of Ministers today. An interesting contrast between this majestic historical building and the modern one in the background. I love the details that can be seen, the circular windows, the dome of more than 50 meters with a French academic style.

The Argentine flag in the Buenos Aires town hall, a slight cut and although it is not exactly about domes and towers, I thought it was an interesting shot.

This is the tower of one of the churches in the San Telmo neighborhood.

A small fraction of the dome of the metropolitan cathedral and a sculpture on the heights of one of these buildings in the area to vary a little.

I hope they have been of interest to you. Have a good day :)
