A Walk in Color and BNW - Street Photography, Buenos Aires.

This is one of my last walks in the city, I took some photos in the downtown, diagonal North and Plaza de Mayo. They are different photos, I think... so I also wanted to edit them in a different way, today I felt like looking at them with different and warmer tones. I also decided to make a mix in which I combine color and black and white photos. I think I decided because I was recently watching old videos and photos of the city, from the beginning of the last century.

In fact, I think the photo that looks the most like that for me is the first one and it's the one I liked the most. Little contrast, a softer image with friendlier tones.

Every time I see old photos of the city of Buenos Aires, they are mostly of neighborhoods like this one, San Nicolás, Plaza de Mayo and part of its architecture and urban planning.

I took the photos over several days and made a composite of the best photos I selected recently.

I think it is a different way of seeing the city since we can also see black and white photos and have another vision, another perspective, as if it were the past. Obviously you have to leave aside current clothing and other modern elements that may appear in these compositions.

I always tend to focus on specific details but I am trying to take more angular photos, at the same time I want to change the way I portray the city, always with the intention of varying and Get interesting scenarios in each area of this beautiful city.

Something as simple as people walking back and forth or a single person crossing an avenue can be attractive.

I think that most of these photos can be summarized in a single place, a block, just over 100 meters between Plaza de Mayo and diagonal Norte.

It's such a special area in every way that I always visit and always get different scenarios, different shots and good moments.

When I came to this place, my first intention was to enter the metropolitan cathedral and I couldn't do it. I have taken many photos of this cathedral but on the outside, its façade and its architectural details and dome,But it is time to get to know the interior well and everything that is inside there.

I hope this selection of photos has a good visual impact for some of you.

It's a very busy area, very touristy and well known by tourists.
