Saludos gente bonita de #hive, reciban una lluvia de bendiciones para todos y cada uno de esos seres bonitos de esta comunidad, que aunque se encuentren detrás de una pantalla, siempre nos hacen sentir apoyados, siempre tienen una palabra bonita, una palabra de ánimo, para los que de alguna manera no la estamos pasando bien por diferentes circunstancias.
Cómo ya saben por mis post anteriores, mi esposo @gilliatt atraviesa una situación de salud bastante delicada, y debe ser operado lo antes posible, esto producto de la lesión tan delicada que tiene en su columna y que está causando daño en la médula ósea, estos meses se han convertido en un verdadero martirio tanto para mí como para él. Nos la pasamos del hospital cuando es emergencia a las clínicas para consultas y exámenes y de verdad cada día que pasa me siento agotada física y mentalmente, pero sigo adelante.
En la última consulta a la acudimos el Neurocirujano no nos dió buenas noticias, por los resultados arrojados en la última resonancia magnética, nos habla de que hay un cuadro bastante complejo, pues nos dijo que tenía una discartrosis en L4-L5 de grado III, L5-S1 de grado 4, esto quiere decir que está presentando un desgaste muy avanzado en los discos que son los encargados de amortiguar entre las vértebras de la columna, también nos dijo que presenta retro-espondilolistesis, que generalmente es curado con reposo médico, terapia y medicamentos, Pero en su caso ya nada de esto funciona.
También observó pequeños nódulos de schmorl, que son hernias, esto es lo menos preocupante, lo qué si realmente nos alarmó fue cuando nos dijo dijo que estaba observando demasiada deformación en las fibras de las vértebras, y sobretodo la compresión contra la médula, lo que está ocasionando el dolor tan agudo que él está presentando, inclusive al más mínimo movimiento, y sobretodo nos dice que hay que operar a la brevedad posible, para evitar se siga causando más daño a la médula, y pueda causar un daño permanente.
Por ahora le mandaron a realizar un nuevo exámen, una Rx Dinámica lumbosacra, que tiene un costo de 66$, esto con la finalidad de ver el estado real y actual de la parte ósea, ya que la resonancia que llevamos tiene seis meses que se realizó, estamos actualmente reuniendo para poder hacer el estudio, porque no hemos podido realizarlo, tampoco comprar el nuevo tratamiento que recetó el Neurocirujano, además de todo, bueno está la parte anímica de Gilliatt, el doctor le ha prohibido caminar, y le recomendó usar una silla de ruedas.
Tuve que salir a buscar presupuestos, del costo de la silla, de los medicamentos y sobretodo de los rayos X porque es lo que más nos urge, fue un día realmente agotador, salí desde las 9 de la mañana y llegué a mi casa a eso de las 4 de la tarde, llegué exhausta de tanto caminar, de preguntar, pero sobretodo de impresionada de ver lo costoso que se ha vuelto la medicina acá en Venezuela, fue un verdadero peregrinar. Fui al hospital a preguntar, y no había servicio de rayos x trabajando ahorita, fui varios sitios que en teoría son gratuitos y nada no conseguí, así que terminé visitando las diferentes clínicas de la ciudad, en algunas ni lo hacían, en otras muy caro, pero al final logré dar con un sitio donde es más económico el exámen, se llama integra, ahora solo nos resta reunir el dinero.
En cuanto a la silla de ruedas, primero pregunté entre la familia y allegados a ver si tenían una que me prestarán, pero me fue imposible conseguir una, la silla tiene un costo de 225$ ya veremos cómo hacemos, ciertamente está no es una batallas fácil de librar cuando no se cuenta con mucho o nada de apoyo, pero no es imposible lograrlo, ya estamos haciendo una rifa, vendiendo dulces, entre otras cosas para reunir la cantidad que necesitamos, acá en el estado Sucre-Venezuela es un verdadero viacrucis tratar de que las instituciones públicas te brinden apoyo a menos que tengas algún conocido, así que aunque ya hemos solicitamos ayuda, no estoy muy convencida de que me brinden la ayuda que se necesita, pero no me rindo, sigo con mi meta fijada de hacer que mi esposo se pueda operar y recuperarse por completo, se que pronto estará caminando nuevamente y sin dolor, se que será así, estoy bien optimista.
Es una tarea monumental la que tenemos Pero nada ni nadie me va hacer desistir, desde ya agradezco a quienes de manera desinteresada en algún momento me han brindado su ayuda, estoy segura que Dios se los va retribuir al doble, él no nos va a desamparar, siempre optimista, la pelea es peleando.
