Hace algunos días hice una "salidita" al teatro. Hacia buen tiempo que no realizaba ese tipo de actividad, pero casualmente pasaba por allí y ví el anuncio: "Espectáculo humorístico con Mariconchy".
Mariconchy es un personaje bastante conocido en la escena humorística cubana y yo nunca la había disfrutado en vivo. ¡Así que aproveche la oportunidad!
Pero, al margen del espectáculo humorístico, de excelente calidad por cierto, vengo a reflexionar un poco sobre una propuesta realizada en esta comunidad hace algunos días. ¿Que tanto nos influye el contexto en el que nos desarrollamos?
Te preguntarás ¿Que relación guarda la respuesta a esa pregunta con un espectáculo humorístico? La propuesta de @naath es bien seria, profunda y necesaria de dedicarle tiempo.
Sucede que Mariconchy desarrolla sus monólogos sobre la satira a los problemas cotidianos del cubano. En cerca de una hora puedes llorar de la risa con tus problemas más fuertes, esos que están presentes en el contexto en que uno vive. Problemas que pueden incluso causar estados anímicos bien negativos.
Con Mariconchy me pasó que en medio de una carcajada, pensaba:"¿En serio me estoy riendo de esto?". Pero, no vengo a hablarte de los chistes, tampoco a hacer catarsis.
Sucede que este personaje termina siempre sus monólogos con la siguiente idea: "Llegamos a este mundo con nuestro destino ya escrito, si, pero escrito con lápiz. Así que demosle vuelta al lápiz, borremos y escribamos nuestro destino otra vez".
Simplemente genial esta idea. Vivimos en contextos que nos han condicionado, desde el nacimiento. Asimilamos la cultura de un país, de una familia, aprendemos incluso los miedos y complejos de nuestros padres. ¡También aprendemos lo bueno!
Yo mismo soy resultado del contexto en que me he desarrollado. O los contextos. A veces me preguntó si quizá hubiese desarrollado más habilidades necesarias para este tiempo de haber pasado un poco más de trabajo en la vida.
O mire usted, si no hubiese adquirido la costumbre de poner en la espalda de otro la responsabilidad de mi vida, de mi destino. Porque, he observado cierta tendencia entre mis coterraneos, la de culpar a otros por los problemas que enfrentan a diario.
No estoy tratando de negar un contexto que puede resultar bastante complejo. Yo mismo soy de una generación en la que muchos decidimos terminar el bachillerato y comenzar a trabajar. No era tan importante el estudiar una carrera universitaria.
Si he llegado hasta aquí, ha sido precisamente por haberme desarrollado en un microcobtexto, por llamarle de algún modo. Cómo te dije, estudiar nunca fue mi primera opción. Sin embargo, en mi entorno familiar cercano hubo muchos estímulos que me impulsaron a llegar hasta profesor universitario.
Mis padres son maestros. Mi padre y un tío, que es más como un hermano mayor, sin doctores en ciencias pedagógicas y trabajan en la misma universidad que yo. Así que ellos se han encargado de guiarme hasta aquí.
Entonces, el contexto si influye. ¡Influye mucho! Condiciona la concepción del mundo que nos creamos, condiciona el acceso a oportunidades de desarrollo, etc. Condiciona pero no determina.
El ser humano es la única criatura en este planeta que tiene la capacidad de autodeterminación.
Lo ha demostrado a lo largo de la historia de su evolución. Es cierto que con acceso a determinsdas facilidades de puede llegar más lejos en el camino del desarrollo personal, pero también es cierto que se puede cambiar "nuestro destino".
Simplemente me niego a pensar que los sucesos negativos que me han sucedido, las carencias, las vicisitudes que he pasado para lograr algunas cosas vayan a determinar quien soy o quien seré. Bueno... De hecho dejan su huella, pero podemos elegir que tipo de huella queda en nosotros.
Me gustaría ver la expresión de tu rostro mientrasxlees estás próximas líneas. Puedes llamarlo como quieras, para mí es como un mecanismo de defensa que utilizo en momentos en que la desesperanza aprendida quiere de apoderarse de mi.
Cuando me encuentro en un estado anímico así, después de enfrentar las suficientes frustraciones en un contexto poco favorecedor, pienso en el hombre primitivo. Llegar vivo al final de día era el objetivo principal, imagino.
Sin embargo no creo que pensara mucho en la determinación contextual. Creo que simplemente se adaptaba a las condiciones del contexto o las transformaba en su beneficio. Había que sobrevivir, sin importar las condiciones.
Bueno, trabajo a diario para que esa sea una mis actitudes porque el contexto si influye, pero quienes determinamos como lo hace somos nosotros. Tanto así que he conocido a hermanos que han estado sometidos a dinámicas familiares disfuncionales y cada uno de ellos adoptó una actitud diferente ante la vida.

A few days ago I went on a "little outing" to the theater. It had been a long time since I had done that kind of activity, but I happened to be passing by and saw the announcement: "Humorous show with Mariconchy".
Mariconchy is a well-known character in the Cuban comedy scene and I had never enjoyed her live, so I took advantage of the opportunity!
But, apart from the humorous show, of excellent quality by the way, I come to reflect a little on a proposal made in this community a few days ago. How much does the context in which we develop influence us?
You may ask yourself, how does the answer to that question relate to a humorous show? The proposal of @naath is very serious, deep and necessary to dedicate time to it.
It happens that Mariconchy develops his monologues on the satire to the daily problems of the Cuban. In about an hour you can cry from laughter with your strongest problems, those that are present in the context in which one lives. Problems that can even cause very negative moods.
With Mariconchy it happened to me that in the middle of laughing, I thought: "Am I really laughing at this? But I'm not here to tell you about the jokes, nor to make catharsis.
It happens that this character always ends his monologues with the following idea: "We arrived in this world with our destiny already written, yes, but written with a pencil. So let's turn the pencil over, erase it and write our destiny again".
Simply great this idea. We live in contexts that have conditioned us, from birth. We assimilate the culture of a country, of a family, we even learn the fears and complexes of our parents. We also learn the good things!
I myself am the result of the context in which I have developed. Or contexts. Sometimes I wonder if maybe I would have developed more skills needed for this time if I had spent a little more work in life.
Or you see, if I had not acquired the habit of putting the responsibility for my life, for my destiny, on someone else's back. Because, I have observed a certain tendency among my fellow citizens to blame others for the problems they face on a daily basis.
I am not trying to deny a context that can be quite complex. I myself am from a generation in which many of us decided to finish high school and start working. It was not so important to study for a university degree.
If I have come this far, it has been precisely because I have developed in a micro context, so to speak. As I told you, studying was never my first choice. However, in my close family environment there were many stimuli that pushed me to become a university professor.
My parents are teachers. My father and an uncle, who is more like an older brother, do not have PhDs in pedagogical sciences and work at the same university as me. So they have been in charge of guiding me here.
So, the context does influence. It influences a lot! It conditions the conception of the world that we create for ourselves, it conditions the access to development opportunities, etc. It conditions but does not determine.
The human being is the only creature on this planet that has the capacity for self-determination.
He has demonstrated this throughout the history of his evolution. It is true that with access to certain facilities one can go further on the path of personal development, but it is also true that one can change "our destiny".
I simply refuse to think that the negative events that have happened to me, the shortcomings, the vicissitudes I have gone through to achieve some things are going to determine who I am or who I will be. Well... In fact they leave their imprint, but we can choose what kind of imprint is left on us.
I would like to see the expression on your face as you read these next lines. You can call it whatever you want, for me it's like a defense mechanism I use in moments when learned hopelessness wants to take over me.
When I find myself in such a state of mind, after facing enough frustrations in an unflattering context, I think of primitive man. Getting to the end of the day alive was the main goal, I imagine.
I don't think he gave much thought to contextual determination, though. I think he simply adapted to contextual conditions or transformed them to his advantage. There was survival to be had, no matter what the conditions.
Well, I work every day so that this is one of my attitudes because the context does influence, but we are the ones who determine how it does. So much so that I have known siblings who have been subjected to dysfunctional family dynamics and each of them adopted a different attitude towards life.
