Estoy enamorada de esta ciudad, a pesar de que no nací aquí. Siento que aquí dio inicio a mi vida como profesional y familiar, la considero, mi segunda ciudad adoptiva. Está ciudad tiene cosas maravillosas, su gente, pero sobre todo la planificación urbanística, al llegar acá la ciudad que contemple era moderna, funcional y sostenible, posee amplias zonas verdes, espacios públicos y una vialidad bien definida.
I am in love with this city, even though I was not born here. I feel that my professional and family life began here, I consider it my second adopted city. This city has wonderful things, its people, but above all the urban planning, when you get here the city you see was modern, functional and sustainable, it has large green areas, public spaces and well-defined roads.
En ese entonces, cuando pise estas tierras, se construía el segundo puente sobre el Orinoco, llamado puente Orinoquia este puente posee un largo de 3.150 metros, en su momento cuando lo inauguraron, era el puente atirantado más largo de América Latina.

Entre las maravillas que empecé a conocer de esta ciudad se encontraban unos parques que me cautivaron por completo. El parque la llovizna y el parque Cachamay. Ellos se encuentran en medio del ajetreo urbano, estos parques son como santuarios de la naturaleza, ofrecen un respiro del ritmo frenético de la ciudad. Es como entrar en un mundo diferente. El aire se torna más puro, impregnado del aroma a la tierra húmeda. El canto de las aves y el susurro de las hojas y el ruido del agua cayendo, estos sonidos crean una sinfonía natural que calma el alma.
Among the wonders that I began to discover about this city were some parks that completely captivated me. La llovizna park and Cachamay park. They are located in the middle of the urban hustle and bustle, these parks are like nature sanctuaries, offering a respite from the frenetic pace of the city. It's like entering a different world. The air becomes purer, impregnated with the aroma of humid earth. The singing of birds and the rustling of leaves and the noise of falling water, these sounds create a natural symphony that calms the soul.
En cuanto a las empresas básicas, actualmente la corporación venezolana de Guayana tiene a su control 28 empresas, de las cuales tuve la oportunidad de trabajar en tres de ellas y conocer el proceso industrial de hierro y el aluminio. Venalum, Ferroven y Sidor, Venalum posee 5 lineas de producción pero está empresa está encargada de producir lingotes de aluminio, cilindros de extracción y aluminio líquido, Ferroven es un empresa dedicada dedicada a la producción de ferroaleaciones, elementos químicos, como manganeso, aluminio o silicio. Se utilizan en la producción de acero. Por ende esta empresa contribuía a lo que es todo el complejo siderúrgico de la ciudad, pero creo entender que en estos momentos está paralizada.

Durante 5 años de mi vida puedo decir que esta ciudad me dio la oportunidad de mi vida enriqueció mi conocimiento en cuanto a lo grande que es Venezuela y como se conectan esas empresas, entre ellas para producir y elaborar productos atreves del mineral de hierro y aluminio.
For 5 years of my life I can say that this city gave me the opportunity of a lifetime, enriched my knowledge about how big Venezuela is and how these companies are connected, among them to produce and develop products through iron ore and aluminum.
El parque de la navidad, pues si este parque se llama así porque cuenta con un árbol de navidad hecho de aluminio, es un lugar para distraerse y pasar el rato, allí cuentas con locales de comida rápida y dulces entre otros, también un molino muy bello, icono de nuestra ciudad.

Hoy en día digo con orgullo que vivo en ciudad Guayana, y me encanta la ciudad a pesar de que está muy descuidada en muchos aspectos por innumerables causas que no mencionaré en este post.

Más allá de estos monumentos icónicos, Puerto Ordaz alberga una gran cantidad de esculturas, plazas y obras de arte que enriquecen su paisaje urbano y reflejan la identidad cultural de la ciudad, pero sobre todo puedo decir que aún existe un gentilicio de venezolanos que amamos y valoramos sus imponentes obras que invitan a la admiración, a la reflexión y a la celebración del ingenio humano.
Beyond these iconic monuments, Puerto Ordaz is home to a large number of sculptures, plazas and works of art that enrich its urban landscape and reflect the cultural identity of the city, but above all I can say that there is still a family of Venezuelans that we love and We value his imposing works that invite admiration, reflection and celebration of human ingenuity.
