Pienso que no todas las propuestas que se nos hagan son buenas oportunidades. Se supone que las oportunidades sean algo bueno, pero también hay malas oportunidades, porque algunas personas tratan de impulsarte hacia negocios turbios difrazando la realidad tras la idea de una buena oportunidad. Por otra parte, pienso en mi antiguo trabajo, en el que los pacientes me regalaban una que otra cosa regularmente, porque se sentían agradecidos con mis atenciones hacia ellos, pero yo no podía aceptar todo lo que me llevaban porque sería considerado un soborno, aunque pudiera tratarse de una buena oportunidad para mí. Así que, en ocasiones, puedo tomar las oportunidades de forma rápida y otras veces no, porque lo analizo demasiado. Sin embargo, al tomar buenas decisiones, creas buenas oportunidades y eso influirá en tu futuro y en tu desarrollo personal para tener mayores beneficios, ya sean materiales o espirituales.
I think that not all proposals that are made to us are good opportunities. Opportunities are supposed to be a good thing, but there are also bad opportunities, because some people try to push you into shady deals by disguising the reality behind the idea of a good opportunity. On the other hand, I think of my old job, where patients would give me one thing or another regularly, because they were grateful for my attentions to them, but I could not accept everything they brought me because it would be considered a bribe, even though it might be a good opportunity for me. So, sometimes I can take opportunities quickly and sometimes I don't, because I overanalyze it. However, by making good decisions, you create good opportunities and that will influence your future and your personal development to have greater benefits, whether material or spiritual.
Creo que tomar o no una oportunidad depende de cómo venga la misma. Hay que aprovecharlas cuando son buenas, porque significa que estás dando pasos firmes hacia adelante en tu vida. Personalmente, tuve buenas oportunidades en mi vida y no supe aprovecharlas.
I believe that taking or not taking an opportunity depends on how the opportunity comes. You have to take advantage of them when they are good, because it means that you are taking firm steps forward in your life. Personally, I had good opportunities in my life and I didn't know how to take advantage of them.
No podría decir exactamente cuál fue ese momento de mayor valor de tomar una oportunidad. Creo que un ejemplo podría ser cuando elegí mi carrera y que me la otorgaran. Me sentí muy emocionada y alegre con mi vida porque era una meta que me había trazado desde que era una adolescente. En aquel momento, me gustaban otras carreras, pero lo que estudié, fue la primera oportunidad que me llegó.
I couldn't say exactly what was that moment of greatest value of taking a chance. I think one example might be when I chose my career and was awarded it. I felt very excited and joyful about my life because it was a goal I had set for myself since I was a teenager. At that time, I liked other careers, but what I studied was the first opportunity that came my way.

Yo sí he sabido elegir oportunidades en mi vida, aunque haya personas que digan lo contrario. Cuando me puse a buscar trabajo, porque no me convenía el lugar que habían elegido para mí, insistí e insistí hasta que encontré la oportunidad de trabajar en un lugar que me gustaba. Hablé con muchas personas, algunas más positivas que otras, hubo muchas trabas, pero no me decaí, ni me deprimí. Así que creo que las oportunidades también se crean. I believe that emotions influence the decisions we make when we are presented with an opportunity. I have known how to choose opportunities in my life, although there are people who say otherwise. When I started looking for a job, because the place they had chosen for me did not suit me, I insisted and insisted until I found the opportunity to work in a place I liked. I talked to many people, some more positive than others, there were many obstacles, but I did not get discouraged or depressed. So I believe that opportunities are also created. When I started the French language course I also had to insist a lot, to be able to attend. I had a lot of courage at that time, but because I had too much work I could not continue.
Las oportunidades influyen grandemente en nuestro crecimiento personal, te hacen una persona más fuerte, te levantan el autoestima, te mantienen la mente activa porque estás inmersa en aprovecharlas al 100 %. Aparte de la carrera que elegí, me hubiera gustado estudiar Inglés, Francés o Informática.
Opportunities greatly influence our personal growth, they make you a stronger person, they raise your self-esteem, they keep your mind active because you are immersed in taking advantage of them 100%. Apart from the career I chose, I would have liked to study English, French or Computer Science.
A veces, pienso mucho antes de elegir una oportunidad, otras veces no. Hay oportunidades que se te aparecen y aprovecharlas no dependen de uno. Por ejemplo, yo llegué a tener la oportunidad de tener pasaporte listo para viajar a otro país a mis 15 años, pero mi mamá se enfermó en esa fecha y no pudimos hacer nada. No dependió de mí. Pensando en lo que he hecho en toda mi vida, me arrepiento de no haber aprovechado mis oportunidades al máximo. Hay gente que las aprovechó bien y en ocasiones no les va tan bien. Todo depende de cómo se hagan las cosas. Ahora mismo, siento que también estoy desaprovechando oportunidades en mi vida. Depende de mi estado de ánimo. No he encontrado esa fuerza o impulso que tienen otras personas de continuar con firmeza ante los días difíciles. Tengo que seguir mejorando, hablando de lo que siento y creo, reflexionando, escuchando consejos de la familia y amigos que son mi sostén en estos momentos. Agradezco enormemente contar con todos ellos. No sé qué sería de mí si estuviera sola.
Sometimes, I think long and hard before choosing an opportunity, sometimes not. There are opportunities that appear to you and taking advantage of them does not depend on you. For example, I had the opportunity to have my passport ready to travel to another country when I was 15 years old, but my mother got sick at that time and we could not do anything. It was not up to me. Thinking about what I have done in my whole life, I regret not having taken advantage of my opportunities to the fullest. There are people who made good use of them and sometimes they don't do so well. It all depends on how things are done. Right now, I feel that I am also missing opportunities in my life. It depends on my state of mind. I haven't found that strength or drive that other people have to keep going strong in the face of tough days. I have to keep improving, talking about what I feel and believe, reflecting, listening to advice from family and friends who are my support at this time. I am very grateful to have all of them. I don't know what would become of me if I were alone.
