Tatuaje sorpresa para papá [Esp/Ing]

Hola, hola mi gente hermosa de Hive. Vuelvo por aquí porque decidí unirme a la iniciativa en conmemoración al Día del Padre. Deseo invitar a las amigas @lauracraft y @valrodriguez. Como ya he mencionado en mi presentación, mi papá estuvo ausente en mi niñez y adolescencia, por eso me planteé dedicarle esta publicación a mi abuelo materno, con él conviví desde que tengo uso de razón, por eso lo considero mi figura paterna.

Mi abuelo siempre tenía un sombrero puesto, era el elemento más resaltante de su estilo, lo cual lo hacía lucir muy elegante. Para él, el sombrero significaba autoridad, poder y respeto, así lo sentíamos todos los que convivíamos a su lado, era su accesorio preferido, solo se lo quitaba para dormir y lo colocaba muy cerca en una mesa de noche. Por tal razón, me haría este tatuaje en la pantorrilla, un sombrero de copa pinchada y alas semicurvas en color ocre, tal como el que él utilizaba, en el medio tendría una franja tejida negra. Este diseño tendría en el fondo los colores de la bandera de Venezuela, para rendir tributo al suelo que nos ha dado tanto y nos ha visto crecer. También le añadiría las ocho estrellas, cuatro de cada lado.

As I mentioned in my presentation, my dad was absent in my childhood and adolescence, that's why I decided to dedicate this publication to my maternal grandfather, I lived with him since I can remember, that's why I consider him my father figure.

My grandfather always had a hat on, it was the most outstanding element of his style, which made him look very elegant. For him, the hat meant authority, power and respect, that's how all of us who lived with him felt, it was his favorite accessory, he only took it off to sleep and placed it very close to him on a night table. For this reason, I would make this tattoo on my calf, a hat with a pinched top and semi-curved brims in ocher color, just like the one he used, in the middle it would have a black woven stripe. This design would have in the background the colors of the Venezuelan flag, to pay tribute to the soil that has given us so much and has seen us grow. I would also add the eight stars, four on each side.

En la actualidad, quizás los tatuajes de sombreros no sean muy comunes, pues los adolescentes se van por diseños que están en tendencia o moda, olvidando los objetos tradiciones de nuestros antepasados. No tengo dudas, de que mi abuelo tenía razón con el significado que le otorgaba a este accesorio, lamentablemente ya se perdió esa representación, hoy solo es visto como un elemento estético a la hora de elegir el vestuario.

Mi abuelo falleció hace mucho tiempo, pero estoy segura de que quedaría complacido con la elección que hice, pues representa su esencia y me haría recordarlo con mucho cariño. No existe una sola conversación sobre él donde no salga a relucir su particular sombrero pelo de guama. Nowadays, perhaps hat tattoos are not very common, because teenagers go for designs that are in trend or fashion, forgetting the traditional objects of our ancestors. I have no doubt that my grandfather was right with the meaning he gave to this accessory, unfortunately that representation has been lost, today it is only seen as an aesthetic element when choosing the wardrobe.

My grandfather passed away a long time ago, but I am sure he would be pleased with the choice I made, because it represents his essence and would make me remember him with great affection.
