Faraland has held 2 Tournaments with exciting battles. Tactics in the game are increasingly deployed effectively as new features are constantly updated. To win a high ranking in PvP, players need to practice and figure out the right strategy for each match. Here are some tips that will help you in the process of participating in PvP gameplay.

  1. Identify “key hero” on the opponent’s squad

At the outset of the battle, avoid being hasty in moving your heroes. Take a few seconds to consider the equivalents in forces between two sides. Drag the screen to the enemy squad and locate its key hero. The “key hero” of a lineup usually deals major damage (long-range attacks, assassins, sorcerers, etc.) or heroes with Special Effects (controlling, healing, etc.)

The blue squad consists of 3 heroes dealing physical damage, so you should target magical enemies as they have low physical defense and minor attack range.

Drag the camera to the enemy side, the red squad has 2 magical heroes, Dragonborn and Fairy. In this case, we will arrange the attack order as: Fairy > Dragonborn > Elf. Fairy should be targeted first because it possesses the lowest amount of HP and physical defense in the opposing team. In addition, Fairy possesses HP healing skills for its teammates, which is very troublesome.

Next, draw up a strategy for the game in mind and move heroes in the squad from your judgment. The chance of winning will be higher if you practice this skill into a habit.

  1. Know the Attack range and Move range of heroes on the enemy side

Collecting information about the attack range and move range of heroes on the enemy side is extremely important. It helps put yourself in the opponent’s position, anticipate its steps and calculate the right tactics. This will take a long time to learn and remember the Cast Range of each skill, Attack Range and Move Range of each weapon and so on. But understanding the opponent will help you master every battle and reinforce the chance of victory significantly.

  1. Form your efficient squad range

Always move the heroes in the squad within the targeted range so that they are able to support each other. Many players make mistakes when they control the melee-heroes to approach the enemy squad too quickly, leading to the ranged-heroes behind being unable to give timely support. The turn-based game genre is like chess, just making mistakes in one move can ruin your whole match.

_ Orc Hero as shown above moves close to the opponent’s squad too early, causing the rear heroes not to move in time to the tile where it could attack easily. This makes it difficult to deal damage to the main hero on the enemy side._

  1. Avoid spread attacks

If you form an efficient squad range, then in attacking the enemy, there will usually be 2 to 3 allies within attack range to deal damage to the enemy. Choose the “Key heroes” or heroes with the weakest defense stats in attack range to “Focus”. Even though you can not finish that hero in one turn, this still puts pressure on the opponent’s next turn, they will have to use Mana pool to recover HP or sacrifice that hero in the next turn.

If your squad is oriented to physical damage, choose the magical heroes on the opponent’s side to “Focus” and vice versa. Avoid attacking spread out, as you won’t finish the heroes on the opponent’s side and this kind of attack will be difficult if the opponent’s squad has healer.

If possible, focus on finishing off a hero with the lowest amount of HP on the opposing side.

  1. Calculate your mana pool reasonably

After taking the turn, players will be awarded 1 Mana pool point. Be careful in calculating the turns of the heroes in the squad based on the Turn order in the bottom corner of the screen. Also, remembering the Mana cost of each skill will help to calculate tactics more accurately. Top players always make calculations and anticipate what the enemy hero will act in the next turn, the skill being used. Accordingly they can master the match when they know the opponent’s intentions.

What is Faraland

Faraland is a role-playing strategy wargame for Android and iOS, developed on blockchain by MoonKnight Labs, a company based in Vietnam. The players control the characters of 7 races: Humans, Orcs, Elves, Fairies, Dragonborns, Angels, and Demons — each with different abilities, strengths, intelligence, and agility, to fight with other players in a universe called Faraland.

Faraland is an innovation project combining NFT technology and gaming experience. Not only are all exquisitely digital collectibles created using blockchain technology, but all NFT in Faraland can also be integrated into Faraland games later, which will help them increase the value. NFT is the soul of this project. Each Hero, NFT of Faraland, is unique. Each collectible is matchless, genuine, and varies in rarity. Faraland Universe has many different races like Human, Orc, Angel, Demon, Dragonborn, Elf, and Fairy, awaiting the users to discover.

Faraland is different compared to other NFT projects where NFT is solely used for collection. With many exciting gaming activities, Faraland’s users can use their NFT heroes in many unique ways, from equipping them with powerful weapons or shining armors to engaging them in various thrilling battles. It’s a solid and exciting game with a fundamental and engaging storyline. We also focus on the “play and earn” mechanism, making Faraland far beyond a regular game. A variety of options are also available for users, including reinvesting in the game, making your heroes stronger, or cashing out. Our vision is to make Faraland a “dream job” by providing players worldwide opportunities to generate regular income from the project.
