First Impressions with Rising Star - Blockchain Browser Based Game

In my first post on Hive, I received a recommendation from @ph1102 to try out Rising Star.

^this is me btw

The idea of the game appeals to me. I have played browser based games including Forge of Empires, Elvenar, Tanoth and a few others. This game, in a nostalgic way, reminds me of those.

My experience is yet limited as today is my first day on Rising Star, even so, I would like to share my impressions with you and why not, maybe try it out for yourself.

Story: You are a rock-bottom musician. You need to build up a career, gather up fans and perform different gigs that award you blockchain tokens and XP for your account. The tokens are named STARBITS. I haven't made any math yet regarding the possible earnings because at this point I am more interested in the idea of the project. Keep in mind that the game is still in BETA if my informations are accurate.

You unlock higher pays for your gigs as you level and gather up fans. Fans can be rewarded after a mission (gig) and these are drunk fans (which are only available for a limited time - 12 hours since you got them according to the FAQ page- check it out as it provides a lot of useful informations to have an idea of what is your goal). Leveling up is pretty straightforward, you get XP for every mission.

So, there are temporary bonuses (Fans, Luck) but these can also be achieved, along with SKILL and MODIFIER by having corresponding CARDS. I do not have any cards yet, but will do in the future for sure. This means you will increase your fanbase and other stats by holding those cards.

Play to earn!

At this point, for me, the only source of STARBITS is through the timed missions (gig), the number differs depending on the gig you are able to do. Besides the level and the fanbase, the next limitation is Energy, but you shouldn't run out that quick because you find Pizza Slices and Cups of Coffee that regenerate that for you.

For a more in-depth guide, you can check out this post from @libertycrypto27. In conclusion, I have to say the game seems quite enjoyable, you can also play the website's radio and chill.
