Saludos amigos, amantes de las nubes y las maravillas de la naturaleza. Hace pocos d铆as tuve la gran suerte de poder observar desde mi ventana uno de los fen贸menos en las nubes m谩s raros y pocos frecuentes de apreciar. Se trata de la "Inestabilidad de Kelvin-Helmothz", llamada as铆 en honor a los cient铆ficos que descubrieron la explicaci贸n del fen贸meno.
This process consists of the formation of clouds with a wavy appearance, as if they were ocean waves. It occurs because of the difference in wind speed between the base level and the top of the clouds, where the wind moves at a higher speed at the top of the cloud, causing it to overflow as waves in the direction of the wind flow.
Este proceso consiste en la formaci贸n de nubes con aspecto ondulado, como si de olas del mar se tratase. Ocurre a causa de la diferencia en la velocidad del viento entre el nivel de la base y la parte superior de las nubes; en d贸nde el viento se mueve a mayor velocidad en la parte superior de la nube, haciendo que 茅sta se desborde como olas en la direcci贸n del flujo del viento.
This beautiful and rare phenomenon occurs in conditions of instability of the atmosphere, and also shows the fluidity of the atmosphere. As they require special conditions for their formation, they are rarely seen in the sky, and when they appear, they do so for a short period of time.
