Storm clouds overhead

Hello, friends.
Today I will tell you about one of our not entirely successful trips to ancient rock paintings.
On a sunny Sunday in June, we decided to visit Mount “Shishku” to enjoy the views from it and photograph the rock paintings made by our ancestors several thousand years ago.

The weather was sunny, we quickly drove to a village near the mountain, about 50 kilometers from the city, and left the car near the village. We started to climb the mountain. The higher we rose, the stronger the wind blew and the sky, until recently blue and cloudless, began to darken. When we approached the top, storm clouds were already hanging overhead.

In order not to return down empty-handed, we quickly began photographing stone panels with petroglyphs. But alas, rock art loves the sun and good lighting, and our photographs of petroglyphs did not turn out very good.

But, in my opinion, the sky and thunderclouds turned out great. I especially like the swirling cloud in the foreground of the first photo.

As we were going down, the rain caught up with us. June rain is a quick and pleasant rain. The only inconvenience that the rain brought was that the path became slippery, and we had to walk along it very carefully. When we approached the cars, the rain had already stopped. Even after getting thoroughly wet, we were happy with our hike.

The first photo was submitted by me for participation in the 'Love The Clouds' Contest! #192 by @tobetada

Friends, thank you for your attention, see you again.
