So, this is a post talking about all I know on the new game;
This is a web3 game made by the founder of the @ocdb, #POSH and #GOSH initiatives on hive @acidyo.
He's a long standing member in hive who as long as I've known him have been looking for ways to bring new members on to the community.
A true brand ambassador!!
It's safe to say that this game is another bright idea of his to bring in new members and further add value to the Blockchain.
I've had the chance to take a look at the white paper and it looks pretty impressive.
Plus the story is looking mad interactive too!!
To paraphrase the game intro which is on the white paper.
Holozing is a futuristic game where players get to fight and capture monsters, then use those monsters which they've captured and trained to get more monsters and battle other players.
A PVP and PVE game.
Revolutionary for hive!!!
The gameplay and monsters hold a resemblance to the anime trendsetter Pokemon.
Tokenomics
Now this is the bit that's been talked the most about cause it's the only aspect of the game that's available to us players now.
The game has an inbuilt token called Zing which all players are trying to stack up before the game opens in a future date next year.
When the game first came online there was a token airdrop claim for those who had delegated to the @zingtoken account before.
Well even though you had missed the airdrop, there are multiple ways to get the token which I'll explain briefly on here.
WAY 1: Hive Power Delegation
This is the first way of earning Zing. Delegation of hive power to the @zingtoken account gives you daily returns of zing.
At first, the percentage of the returns were quite much but now it is at 28.49% APR making it the lowest percentage returns of all the zing gaining options.
WAY 2: Buying Zing from the Hive Engine/Tribaldex
This way is pretty straightforward. As though you're buying any coin or NFT, you simply go to Hive Engine or Tribaldex.
Buying the coin from those sources adds hive to the liquidity pool and thus brings value to both the zing token and hive community as a whole.
You earn zing in percentages from this method. Thus the amount of zing you buy, the bigger the percentage of zing you'll get from the daily zing pool.
The APR from this method is an unbelievable amount at 268.68%
WAY 3: Staking Zing Tokens.
This is the method which I'm using now.
Once you've gotten liquid zing in your wallet, you can stake it to earn more zing.
Thus if you got zing from hive engine instead swapping (like I did), plus the percentage of zing you earn from the liquidity pool, you earn from the amount of zing you've staked. The APR percentage for this is 58.84%
WAY 4: POSH Earning.
This holozing project started after the POSH project was put on hold due to multiple issues from the web2 side of the project.
Thus it makes sense that users who were invested in the POSH project get to see their investments payoff in this new one.
Those who have the POSH token in their wallets earn passive Zing rewards too.
The POSH earning method has a 92.55% APR percentage.
For those who may not understand APR percentages very well, these numbers are actually very high for reward returns on a coin, so it's advised to collect as much of the coin as possible.
Despite the price not being high now, Crypto even second hand tokens are known to be very volatile so one can wake-up sometime next week to see Zing near a dollar or even more.
Like how BRO skyrocketed earlier this year.
Thus I advice everyone seeing this to go and earn as much Zing as possible.
If not for the gaming, at least try to claim more potential money in those wallets 😌.
