Discount from Holozing Advent Calendar achievement applies to only one pack
So finally the Holozing Alpha Vials are here and we can buy them at https://holozing.com/shop. The Alpha packs is priced at $20, but then we get discount based on the Holozing Advent Calendar achievement and it's limited to one pack only. You can refer the announcement post for all the details, but I wished, we would get discounts on more packs, may be 5 or 10. These packs are time-limited and will be available for the duration of Alpha version of the game, which could last 3-6 months and then we will have Beta vials. At this point, I am not sure, how many vials one should buy to have all the creatures but looks like there is no guarantee that, you will have all of them by buying a certain amount of vials. It would have been nice to have a collection of vials, that would have guaranteed that.
So without waiting further, I have now bought my first Alpha Vial, with the discounted amount. Please note again, this is only for the first pack, the next single purchase costs 20$.
As soon as we buy the vials show up in the holozing inventory page.
Right now, there are no creatures there, but looking at them, they look very promising. It tempts me to play a game first time in life. I called my daughter and showed him her all these and asked to go through the game details, seems the time is coming fast for setting up her account to help her play the game. I may buy few more vials, after understanding how many Alpha Vials would guarantee all the 4 Holozing starter creatures. Anyone knows ?
And it had been long time since I last claimed my staking rewards, and it was nice to see a big amount 29245.454 ZING sitting there, so I have claimed them. There seems to also an way to trade these ZING tokens to hive and use them to buy the Alpha Vial, but I am not going to sell any ZING token, because I think, demand for them will now rise exponentially.
So all my tokens are staked to claim staking rewards and I think, staking as well as buying these Alpha vials helps the team, so we all should consider putting some investment into the game, that is developed by a very trustworthy team. And also since Starter items in the Alpha Vial having a limited design will exist only in these vials, its worth purchasing them. The stat rarity odds are also slightly higher in the Alpha Vials than the Beta vials, so people may consider buying them in bulk and keep it for future trade. I am not sure, if we earn the in-game token Zing only if we open them or hold them, need to understand more on that, but zing distribution is being increased to 100k zing per day, majority of which is coming to Alpha Vial holders. So it will be a win-win situation to have some more, we will see how many I end up with.
