Focus On ZING Market Value (May 18, 2024 - July 7, 2024) + My Investment Strategy Update + My Road To 100K ZING: Completed!
Almost two months have passed since my last post about Holozing and today I return to share my evaluations, my goals and my investment strategy about this interesting project.
If you don't know Holozing, you should know that Holozing is a Hive-based project of a Pokemon-style RPG game (Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game).
The game is in development and is also a bit behind the initial roadmap but the development team is at work as written by Holozing in his last post.
Even though development is a bit delayed I continue to be very interested in this project for several reasons:
- I have utmost confidence in the development team because it is a team composed of real Hivers who have a good reputation on Hive.
- Hive is my favorite blockchain platform and Hive games are one of my passions
- There is still no structured RPG game on Hive that is fun to play
At the current stage of development of Holozing, it is not possible to play and it is not possible to purchase NFTs and card packs, but it is possible to accumulate ZING tokens (Holozing's native token) through:
- the direct purchase from the market
- 3 distribution methods (staking, HP delegation, liquidity Pool).
For this reason, my investment strategy on Holozing has so far always been based on and strongly influenced by the movement of the value of the ZING token and it is for the same reason that I begin this post precisely with a focus on the market value of the ZING token in a 51-day time interval: May 18, 2024 - July 8, 2024.
ZING: Focus on Market Value and propensity to staking in the time interval: May 18, 2024 - July 8, 2024
The last time I checked the value of the token ZING and shared my focus on this token was May 18, 2024, 51 days ago.
On May 18, 2024 - 20:00 UTC+1:
- the ZING token has a market price = $0.002.
- Circulating Supply: 53.43 million
- Total staked: 40.41 million
- Market Cap: 83.91k USD
Today July 8, 2024 - 20:00 UTC+2:
- the ZING token has a market price = $0.001.
- Circulating Supply: 64.21 million
- Total staked: 51.29 million
- Market Cap: 34.67k USD
In a 51-day interval:
- Circulating Supply: +10.78 million
- Total staked: +10.88 million
- Market Cap: -60.90k USD
In the screenshots below you can see the Candlestick chart of the ZING token
On the Holozing site, the market value of the ZING token is expressed with 4 decimal numbers and for this reason it is an approximate value while on Hive Engine/Beeswap/TribalDex you can see the market value of the ZING token with more decimal numbers and therefore without approximation.
In the table below you can see the difference in HIVE and dollar value recorded by the ZING token over a 51-day time interval (May 18, 2024 - July 8, 2024).
In a time interval of 51 days (May 18, 2024 - July 8, 2024):
decreases the dollar value of the HIVE token: -0.123$ = -39.17%
also decreases the dollar value of the ZING token:
- Highest Bid value: -0.0010315$ = -65.68%%
- Lowest Ask value: -0.0001111$ = -64.81%
The decrease in the value of HIVE tokens and ZING tokens is absolutely no cause for concern for me and I will explain why.
I consider the current market value of the HIVE token highly underestimated considering the many utilities and potential that the Hive blockchain has (this is my personal assessment and is not financial advice).
The current market value of the HIVE token is for me, who has medium to long term goals, an opportunity and incentive to be even more active on Hive to accumulate as much Hive Power as possible.
The decrease of the market value of the ZING token is also not worrisome to me because as I wrote a long time ago and several times in my previous posts on Holozing it is natural and predictable that a token distributed via claimdrop that steadily increases the circulating supply tends to decrease in value over time.
The value of the ZING token may only reverse the current trend when the game will be playable because that is when the ZING token will acquire new use cases within the game and will be more in demand.
In the screenshot below you can see all future use cases of the ZING token which are all use cases related to game activity.
For a developing project like Holozing, I like to monitor several aspects besides the market value of the ZING token.
One element that I consider important for a project under development is the propensity of staking of ZING stakeholders.
Interestingly, there has been a percentage increase in the last 51 days: +4.25%.
It's interesting to note that there has been a percentage increase in the last 51 days: +4.25%.
This data is definitely a positive aspect that shows that confidence in the project by ZING stakeholders is very high.
In the next image you can see the data on the propensity to staking ZING tokens that I recorded in different time intervals starting from December 4, 2023 to today July 8, 2024.

The changes recorded after 51 days are:
- APR Staking: 18.07% -> 14.23%.
- APR HP Delegation: 15.05% -> 10.64%
- APR Liquidity Pool (ZING:SWAP.HIVE): 32.20% -> 35.30%
The APR of the delegation in HP decreased the most while the APR of the liquidity pool increased.
After 5 years on Hive, I have gained some experience in blockchain-based games, and predicting a gradual decrease in the value of the ZING token I have always implemented a bi-directional investment strategy based on accumulating ZING tokens but also selling some of the ZING tokens I have accumulated.
I have gradually decreased my delegation in HP as the APR has decreased.
I gradually went from a delegation of 5000 HP to a current delegation of 500 HP.
I will maintain my delegation in HP active as long as the APR is above 10%, otherwise I will remove my delegation and then reactivate it whenever the APR is above 10%.
The reason for this choice is simple, with my Hive Power I receive an APR of about 9%.
I have always staked the ZING tokens I received from staking and from my HP delegation and will continue to do so.
Today I have 34.43K ZING staked
In the last 51 days I have not removed or added liquidity in the ZING:SWAP.HIVE pool but my share has increased: 0.459% -> 0.670%
From November 7, 2023 to today, I have sold 32378.49 ZING to build my Holozing piggy bank which contains 446 SWAP.HIVE = $85.20.
I will use the accumulated value in my Holozing Piggy Bank to purchase 10 Holozing starter packs when the sale starts (date not announced).
I just hope that before the Holozing Starter packs sale starts, the value of HIVE will increase because to buy 10 starter packs I will need a liquidity worth 193 HBD.
So my two main goals on Holozing are:
- accumulate 100K ZING (ZING staked + ZING in the pool)
- To purchase 10 Holozing starter packs when the sale starts.
My current investment strategy on Holozing has not changed from 51 days ago and you can see it summarized in the diagram in the image below.
In the last 51 days I have increased the amount of ZING tokens at my disposal (ZING staked + ZING in the pool): 103513 ZING = +22031.
So today I am happy because I reached my first goal on Holozing because I exceeded an amount of 100K ZING and now I have to decide whether to set a higher accumulation goal or not but most likely, knowing me, I will set a higher one :)

Focus sul valore del token ZING (18 maggio - 7 luglio) + La mia strategia di investimento su Holozing + La mia strada verso i 100K ZING: Completata!
Sono passati quasi due mesi dal mio ultimo post su Holozing e oggi ritorno a condividere le mie valutazioni, i miei obiettivi e la mia strategia di investimento su questo interessante progetto.
Se non conosci Holozing devi sapere chè Holozing è un progetto Hive-based di un gioco RPG stile Pokemon (Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game).
Il gioco è in fase di sviluppo ed è anche un pò in ritardo rispetto alla roadmap iniziale ma il team di sviluppo è al lavoro come scritto da Holozing nel suo ultimo post.
Anche se lo sviluppo è un pò in ritardo io continuo ad essere molto interessato a questo progetto per diversi motivi:
- ho massima fiducia nel team di sviluppo perchè è un team composto da veri Hivers che hanno una buona reputazione su Hive.
- Hive è la mia piattaforma blockchain preferite e gli Hive games sono una delle mie passioni
- Su Hive non c'è ancora un gioco RPG strutturato e divertente da giocare
Nell'attuale fase di sviluppo di Holozing non è possibile giocare e non è possibile acquistare NFT e pacchi di carte ma è possibile accumulare i token ZING (il token nativo di Holozing) tramite:
- l'aquisto diretto dal mercato
- 3 metodi di distribuzione (staking, HP delegation, liquidity Pool).
Per questo motivo la mia strategia di investimento su Holozing è stata fino ad ora sempre fortemente influenzata dall'andamento del valore del token ZING ed è per lo stesso motivo che inizio questo post proprio con un focus sul valore di mercato del token ZING in un intervallo di tempo di 51 giorni: 18 maggio 2024 - 8 luglio 2024.

L'ultima volta che ho controllato il valore del token ZING ed ho condiviso il mio focus su questo token era il 18 maggio 2024, 51 giorni fa.
Il 18 maggio 2024 - ore 20:00 UTC+1:
- il token ZING ha un market price = 0.002$
- Circulating Supply: 53.43 milioni

Sul sito di Holozing il valore di mercato del token ZING è espresso con 4 numeri decimali e per questo motivo è un valore approssimato mentre su Hive Engine/Beeswap/TribalDex è possibile vedere il valore di mercato del token ZING con più numeri decimali e quindi senza approssimazione.
Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere la differenza di valore in HIVE e in dollari registrata dal token ZING in un intervallo di tempo di 51 giorni (18 maggio 2024 - 8 luglio 2024).
In un intervallo di tempo di 51 giorni (18 maggio 2024 - 8 luglio 2024):
diminuisce il valore in dollari del token HIVE: -0.123$ = -39.17%
diminuisce anche il valore in dollari del token ZING:
- valore Highest Bid: -0.0010315$ = -65.68%%
- valore Lowest Ask: -0.0001111$ = -64.81%
La diminuzione del valore dei token HIVE e dei token ZING non è assolutamente motivo di preoccupazione per me e ti spiego il perchè.
Considero il valore attuale di mercato del token HIVE altamente sottostimato considerando le tante utilità e il potenziale che ha la blockchain di Hive (è la mia personale valutazione e non è un consiglio finanziario).
Il valore di mercato attuale del token HIVE è per me, che ho obiettivi di medio-lungo termine, un occasione e un incentivo ad essere ancora più attivo su Hive per accumulare più Hive Power possibile.
Anche la diminuzione del valore di mercato del token ZING non è preoccupante per me perchè come ho scritto molto tempo fa e più volte nei mie precedenti post su Holozing è naturale e prevedibile che un token distribuito tramite claimdrop che aumenta costantemente la circulating supply tenda a diminuire il suo valore nel tempo.
Il valore del token ZING potrebbe invertire la tendenza attuale solo quando il gioco sarà giocabile perchè sarà in quel momento che il token ZING acquisirà nuovi casi d'uso all'interno del gioco e sarà più richiesto.
Nello screenshot seguente puoi vedere tutti i casi d'uso futuri del token ZING che sono tutti casi d'uso collegati all'attività di gioco.
Per un progetto in fase di sviluppo come Holozing mi piace monitorare diversi aspetti oltre al valore di mercato del token ZING.
Un elemento che considero importante per un progetto in fase di sviluppo è la propensione allo staking dei possessori dei token ZING.
E' interessante notare che c'è stato un aumento percentuale negli ultimi 51 giorni: +4.25%.
Questo dato è sicuramente un aspetto positivo che mostra che la fiducia nel progetto da parte degli ZING stakeholders è molto alta.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere i dati relativi alla propensione allo staking dei token ZING che ho registrato in diversi intervalli di tempo partendo dal 4 dicembre 2023 ad oggi 8 luglio 2024.

Le variazioni registrate dopo 51 giorni sono:
- APR Staking: 18.07% -> 14.23%
- APR HP Delegation: 15.05% -> 10.64%
- APR Liquidity Pool (ZING:SWAP.HIVE): 32.20% -> 35.30%
L'APR della delegazione in HP ha registrato la maggiore diminuzione mentre l'APR della liquidity pool è aumentato.
Dopo 5 anni che sono su Hive ho maturato una certa esperienza nei giochi basati su blockchain e prevedendo una diminuzione progressiva del valore del token ZING ho sempre attuato una strategia di investimento bi-direzionale basata sull'accumulo dei token ZING ma anche sulla vendita di parte dei token ZING che ho accumulato.
Ho gradualmente diminuito la mia delega in HP man mano che l'APR è diminuito.
Sono passato gradualmente da una delega di 5000 HP ad una delega attuale di 500 HP.
Manterrò la mia delega in HP attiva fin quando l'APR sarà superiore al 10%, nel caso contrario rimuoverò la mia delega per poi riattivarla ogni volta che l'APR sarà superiore al 10%.
Il motivo di questa scelta è semplice, con il mio Hive Power ricevo un APR di circa il 9%.
Ho costantemente messo in staking i token ZING che ho ottenuto dallo staking e dalla mia delega in HP e continuerò a farlo.
Oggi ho 34.43K ZING staked
Negli ultimi 51 giorni non ho tolto e non ho aggiunto liquidità nella pool ZING:SWAP.HIVE ma il mio share è aumentato: 0.459% -> 0.670%
Prevedendo una diminuzione progressiva del valore di mercato del token ZING ho venduto 32378.49 ZING per costruire il mio Holozing salvadanaio che contiene 446 SWAP.HIVE = 85.20$.
Utilizzerò il valore accumulato nel mio Holozing Salvadanaio per acquistare 10 Holozing starter packs quando iniziarà la vendita (data non annunciata).
Spero solo che prima dell'inizio della vendita degli Holozing Starter packs il valore di HIVE aumenti perchè per acquistare 10 starter packs avrò bisogno di una liquidità del valore di 193 HBD.
Quindi i miei due obiettivi principali su Holozing sono:
- accumulare 100K ZING (ZING staked + ZING in the pool)
- acquistare 10 Holozing starter packs quando inizierà la vendita
La mia strategia di investimento attuale su Holozing non è cambiata rispetto a 51 giorni fa e la puoi vedere sintetizzata nello schema nell'immagine seguente.
Negli ultimi 51 giorni ho incrementato il quantitativo di token ZING a mia dispozizione (ZING staked + ZING in the pool): 103513 ZING = +22031.
Ho raggiunto il mio primo obiettivo su Holozing perchè ho superato un quantitativo di 100K ZING e adesso devo decidere se fissare un obiettivo di accumulo più alto oppure no ma con molta probabilità, conoscendomi, ne fissero uno più alto :)
