Kamusta Holozing! Im @jhenuni and today i am delightful to share my clay art of Chirple a bird-type like pokemon or rather holozing monster 💚. Molding chirple is a reminiscent of an actual parrot with very affordable clay and this is air dry which i purchased on shoppee a shopping application or online market here in PH.

Materials Needed

  1. Low-cost air dry clay
  2. Sculpting tools ( which is free when you purchased the clay)
  3. Scissors (small scissors or cutting materials are much better)
  4. Printout of the reference

Being a self-learned clay artist i cant share that much tips to everyone so just follow along my step by step photos.

1.) The first thing to do is to look at the reference and study what color do i need in order to prepare and lessen our stress while in progress to dodge or rather avoid panicking the need to get the color we want on a pile of clay packs.

2.) The second part is the actual molding of head and body which is the right thing to do. It should be the body and head first that acts as the base form of Chirple.

3.) Now we come to the fun part which is adding details yayy!!!💚 I started by kneading and cutting the feathery part on chirple's chest, next is kneading the eyes which consist of black and white, then shaping the green feathery details for the head.

4.) Still at detailings while my youngest son Caleb James 😅 🤣 who is stubbornly playful keeps distracting me.

5.) I managed somehow to progress smoothly now after i finished detailing the head part i continue adding the other parts of Chirple's body which are the feet and feathers.

6/) The last step is adding the fingernails or toenails for chirple.
