Relatively recently a new creature was revealed that I think is charming. This creature is called Woolio and it is quite peculiar because at the beginning, in its first form, it is of one type; however, when it evolves it is of another type, something that had not been seen in the other creatures of the game.
That's why I wanted to make this tiny sculpture of this character. Join me in the creative process of my little piece.

Hace relativamente poco se reveló una nueva criatura que a mi parecer es encantadora. Esta criatura se llama Woolio y es bastante peculiar porque al comienzo, en su primera forma, es de un tipo; sin embargo, cuando evoluciona es de otro tipo, algo que no se había visto en las otras criaturas del juego.
Por eso quise hacer esta escultura diminuta de este personaje. Acompáñenme en el proceso creativo de mi pequeña pieza.
Step by step
This sculpture starts with a small plasticine sphere, with this I will make the plush and padded shape that this cute creature has in its first form. You always start this way, with something basic to turn it into something great.

Esta escultura comienza con una pequeña esfera de plastilina, con esta haré la forma felpuda y acolchada que tiene esta simpática criatura en su primera forma. Siempre se empieza así, por algo básico para convertirlo en algo genial.

Notice that to make the body of the figurine, I molded the initial shape into a cloud-like form, with a fluffy and soft appearance.
After achieving this shape, I made a circle to create this sort of mane, so to speak, that Woolio has at the neck. I started by cutting it like a pizza, until I had twelve portions and I molded each one until I achieved this pointed shape at the ends.
Fíjense que para hacer el cuerpo de la figurita, moldeé la forma inicial hasta lograr una forma parecida a la de una nube, de apariencia esponjosa y suave.
Después de logar esta forma, hice un círculo para crear esta suerte de melena, por llamarlo de alguna forma, que tiene Woolio en el cuello. Inicié cortándola cual pizza, hasta lograr doce porciones y a cada una la moldeé hasta logar esta forma puntiaguda en los extremos.

Although I said mane, it looked more like a flower as I completed it. In fact I made two of these “flowers” and superimposed them one on top of the other. The Woolio collar was ready and I put it in place.
Aunque dije melena, me parecía más a una flor a medida que la iba completando. De hecho hice dos de estas "flores" y las superpuse una encima de la otra. Así quedó listo el cuello de Woolio, el cual lo coloqué en su lugar.

The creature's legs are short, or at least his plush body gives the appearance that they are, so I took four wires and used them to support each leg. The ends of each wire were covered with pink plasticine, a color that I would use not only for the legs, but also for the face and ears.
Las patas de la criatura son cortas, o al menos su cuerpo felpudo da la apariencia de que así lo son, por eso tomé cuatro alambrs y los usé como soporte para cada una de las patas. Las puntas de cada alambre los recubrí con plastilina de color rosado, color que usaría no solo para las patas, sino también para la cara y las orejas.
Precisely, I made the face as a small hemisphere, which I surrounded with more yellow plasticine of the same color with which I made the neck and body. Then I placed the ears and the pair of little horns.
It is worth mentioning that I painted the body with the dry brush technique to give it some white tones. This way she was a little more colorful instead of having a single yellow color on her body, this gives her a more special touch and makes her look more charming.
Precisamente, la cara la hice como una pequeña semiesfera, la cual rodeé con más plastilina amarilla del mismo color con el que hice el cuello y el cuerpo. Luego le coloqué las orejas y el par de cuernitos que tiene.
Cabe destacar que el cuerpo lo pinté con la técnica del pincel seco para darle algunas tonalidades blancas. Así quedó un poco más colorida en lugar de tener un único color amarillo en su cuerpo, esto le da un toque más especial y la hace ver más encantadora.
