Greetings friends who love handicrafts! I welcome you to my DC DIY workshop. Today I bring you the second piece of the Holozing mug collection, this time it's dedicated to the spoiled character Miu.

¡Saludos amigos amantes de las artes manuales! Les doy la bienvenida a mi taller Bricolaje DC. Hoy les traigo la segunda pieza de la colección de tazas de Holozing, esta vez es dedicada al personaje consentido de todos Miu.

I really liked this character, it is adorable and because it was inspired by a real kitten, to be honest I really enjoyed making it and it took me a little bit to give him that furious but adorable gesture that he expresses with his look.

For this project I used a clear glass coffee cup, 55 grams of cold porcelain dough in white color. Watercolor, glue, small scissors, pin, grid sheet, pencil, plastic paper, molding sticks and resin.

Me gustó mucho este personaje, es adorable y por ser inspirado en un gatito real, para ser honesta disfruté mucho haciéndolo y me costó un poco darle ese gesto furioso pero adorable que expresa con su mirada.

Para este proyecto utilicé una taza para café de cristal transparente, 55 gramos de masa de porcelana fría en color blanco. Acuarela, pegamento, tijera pequeña, alfiler, hoja cuadriculada, lápiz, papel plástico, estecas de moldear y resina.

I started by placing the grid sheet under the cup to take the measurement and make the design of the character. I wanted to keep all his details. It's basically a baby kitten.

Comencé colocando la hoja cuadriculada debajo de la taza para tomar la medida y hacer el diseño del personaje. Quise conservar todos sus detalles. Es básicamente un gatito bebé.

I covered the sheet with plastic wrap and began to model the character with the white dough.

Cubrí la hoja con el papel plástico y comencé a modelar el personaje con la masa de color blanco.

I made each of the pieces separately: the paws, the ears, nose and mouth, the eyes and the hair sticking out of the ears. With the pin I marked the kitten's fur.

Hice cada una de las piezas por separado: las patitas, las orejas, nariz y boca, los ojos y el pelo sobresaliente de las orejas. Con el alfiler marqué el pelaje del gatito.

With the watercolor, I gave it the gray color and with the glue I fixed all the pieces on one of the sides of the cup.

Con la acuarela, le di el color gris y con el pegamento fije todas las piezas sobre uno de los lados de la taza.

Finally I made the letters of Miu's name to glue underneath the character.

Finalmente hice las letras del nombre de Miu para pegarlas debajo del personaje.

It was finished. I let it dry for 8 hours so I could work the other side of the cup without problems.

Quedó terminado. Dejé secar por 8 horas para poder trabajar el otro lado de la taza sin problemas.

On the opposite side of the cup I did the evolution of Miu Miu Miu, it was the same procedure. I liked the little legs that are seen in high relief. It also took me a while to make her expression of indifferent.

Por el lado contrario de la taza hice la evolución de Miu Miu Miu, fue el mismo procedimiento. Me gustaron las patitas que se ven en alto relieve. También me costó un poco hacer su expresión de indiferente .

The Miu Miu Miu Miu face was very difficult, because of the small size of the pieces to assemble them all.

But in the end this was the result.

La cara del Miu Miu Miu fue muy difícil, por lo pequeño de las piezas para ensamblarlas todas.
