HoloZing Animated Dividers - Free To Use
A week ago, I shared in the HoloZing Community some animated dividers that I created for the game: I never, ever would have thought that my project could receive such a kind and warm welcome!
So, first of all, a huge and wholehearted THANK YOU to all those who commented on the post or who used my dividers in their posts - and I thought I was going to be the only one! - and to @kstreet who, by pinning my post, definitely is responsible for a very big part of its success... truly, thank you to everyone, it was by far the most commented and appreciated post I've ever written on Hive and you gave me a giant push to try to do even better :)
Thanks of course also to @acidyo and the entire @holozing team because without you I would have never had the materials to create these dividers!
Due to the amount of positive comments I received, from the very day of the publication of the post I started working on creating a better and improved revision of the dividers.
The goals I set for myself, also considering the advice provided by some users, were:
- make the dividers thinner and more elegant
- include a transition effect between the different images
- increase the number of versions available.
I can say that after a week of work I have achieved all of these goals**... and also some extra improvements that came to my mind along the way!
So, moving on without further ado to the final result, I now present to you my new dividers - still completely free to use:

Under each image I have also included the code to embed the divider inside your own posts, so that those less tech-savvy can save it - or bookmark this post - and use it when needed.
Getting to this final result took me a shameful amount of hours, but, at least for me, it was worth it, because to me these new versions are superior in every way to the previous ones and bring a number of improvements that increase the overall quality of the work: sure, getting there was a struggle, not least because a couple of days ago I was sure I was done, if not that, while making the thumnail, I realized that there was still something that didn't sit right with me, so in the end I had to redo from scratch the dividers for the water and light Healers, in order to achieve what I had in mind. ... I hope it was worth it! :)
Then, for those who prefer to have static dividers, I'll also leave you the png version of the dividers with the Healers, which in my opinion also look good in that way too:

Now I just have to wait for the release of the 3 Healers that are missing as well as some new creatures and then I will be able to proceed to expand the number of dividers even more, making more and more versions that, I hope, will meet the tastes of a bit 'of all!
When there will be enough creatures it will be also possible to create custom dividers, which can be put at the bottom of your posts as a sort of HoloZing themed signature... what about it?
For those who are curious, I'll also leave you some images taken during the whole working process - actually I recreated the screens later, because while I was working I didn't remember to make them, of course ahahah
First I reduced the size of some parts of the image, thus reducing the thickness of the dividers and making them thinner.
I then changed the color of the lighting effects of the image to be as similar as possible to that of each Healer.
Since I did not have images with a transparent background available for the Healers, I had to create them myself, bringing the white background to transparency.
In the next step, I placed each Healer within the divider, as I had already done with the creatures from HoloZing world.
Once we got to this point, I decided to enhance the dividers by customizing those of the Healers with a detail about elements they are linked to: leaves for the forest one, sea waves for the ocean one, and fire for the light Healer.
Finally, I added a transition between each image, creating a noise effect between each frame.
That's it in a nutshell! Everything was applied to each divider, repeating the various steps and adding some new mistakes to be fixed each time 😅
Plus of course there are all the stuff I first did and then undid, frames that I discovered moved one pixel down I don't know when, transparencies that became unwatchable junk when I exported the images, GIMP getting bugged every two seconds... in short, it was a little Odyssey full of unexpected events and surprises!

Divisori Animati a Tema HoloZing - Utilizzo Libero
Una settimana fa ho condiviso nella Community dedicata ad HoloZing alcuni divisori animati che avevo creato per il gioco nei giorni precedenti: mai e poi mai avrei pensato che il mio progetto potesse ricevere un'accoglienza così gentile e calorosa!
Quindi, innanzitutto, un GRAZIE enorme e di cuore a tutti coloro che hanno commentato il post o che hanno utilizzato i miei divisori nei loro posts - ed io che credevo che sarei stato l'unico! - ed a @kstreet che, avendo pinnato il mio post, è sicuramente responsabile per una grandissima parte del suo successo... davvero grazie a tutti, è stato di gran lunga il post più commentato ed apprezzato che abbia mai scritto su Hive e mi avete dato uno sprone gigantesco a cercare di fare ancora meglio :)
Un grazie naturalmente anche ad @acidyo ed a tutto il team di @holozing perchè senza di voi non avrei mai avuto a disposizione il materiale per creare questi divisori!
Stante la mole di commenti positivi che ho ricevuto, già dal giorno stesso della pubblicazione del post mi sono messo a lavoro per creare una revisione migliore e più bella dei divisori.
Gli obiettivi che mi ero prefissato, anche considerati i consigli di alcuni utenti, erano:
- rendere i divisori più sottili ed eleganti
- inserire un effetto di transizione tra le diverse immagini
- aumentare il numero di versioni disponibili
Posso dire che dopo una settimana di lavoro ho raggiunto tutti questi obiettivi... ed anche alcuni miglioramenti extra che mi sono venuti in mente strada facendo!
E passando quindi senza ulteriore indugio al risultato finale, vi presento i miei nuovi divisori - sempre ad utilizzo completamente libero:

Sotto ogni immagine ho anche indicato il codice per inserire il divisorio all'interno dei propri post, in modo che chi è meno pratico possa salvarselo - o salvarsi tra i preferiti questo post - ed utilizzarlo all'occorrenza.
Arrivare a questo risultato finale mi ha richiesto un quantitativo indecente di ore, ma, almeno per me, ne è valsa la pena, perchè a mio avviso queste nuove versioni sono migliori sotto tutti i punti di vista rispetto alle precedenti ed apportano una serie di migliorie che aumentano la qualità complessiva del lavoro: certo, arrivarci è stata una faticaccia, anche perchè un paio di giorni fa ero convinto di aver finito, se non che, mentre preparavo la cover, mi sono accorto che c'era ancora qualcosa che non mi convinceva, per cui alla fine ho dovuto rifare da capo i divisori dedicati agli Healer dell'acqua e della luce, così da raggiungere ciò che avevo in mente... spero che ne sia valsa la pena! :)
Per chi poi preferisse dei divisori statici, vi lascio anche la versione in png dei divisori dedicati agli Healers, che secondo me fanno la loro bella figura anche così:

Adesso non mi resta che attendere il rilascio dei 3 Healers che mancano nonchè di qualche nuova creatura e potrò così procedere ad ampliare il numero di divisori ancora di più, realizzando sempre più versioni che, spero, possano soddisfare i gusti di un po' tutti quanti!
Quando poi le creature saranno abbastanza sarà anche possibile creare dei divisori personalizzati, da mettere magari in fondo ai propri posts come fossero una sorta di firma a tema HoloZing... che ne pensate?
Per i più curiosi, vi lascio anche qualche immagine presa durante il processo di lavoro - in realtà gli screens li ho ricreati dopo, perchè figuriamoci se mentre lavoravo mi sono ricordato di farli ahahah
Per prima cosa ho ridotto le dimensioni di alcune parti dell'immagine, così da ridurre lo spessore dei divisori e renderli più fini.
Ho poi modificato il colore degli effetti luminosi dell'immagine, in modo da renderlo il più simile possibile a quello di ogni Healer.
Dato che per gli Healers non avevo a disposizione immagini con sfondo trasparente, ho dovuto crearle io, portando a trasparenza lo sfondo bianco che circondava ogni personaggio.
Nel passaggio successivo ho posizionato ogni Healer all'interno del divisorio, come avevo già fatto con le creature del mondo di HoloZing.
Arrivati a questo punto ho deciso di arricchire i divisori personalizzando quelli dedicati agli Healers con un dettaglio relativo agli elementi da questi rappresentati: delle foglie per quello della foresta, le onde del mare per quello dell'oceano, il fuoco per l'Healer della luce.
Per finire ho aggiunto una transizione tra ogni immagine, creando un effetto disturbo tra un frame e l'altro.
Questo è in sintesi quanto! Il tutto è stato applicato ad ogni divisorio, ripetendo i vari steps ed aggiungendo ogni volta qualche nuovo errore da correggere 😅
In più ovviamente ci sono tutte le cose che ho prima fatto e poi disfatto, i frame che ho scoperto essersi spostati di un pixels verso il basso non so quando, le trasparenze che diventavano delle schifezze inguardabili quando esportavo le immagini, GIMP che si buggava ogni due secondi... insomma, è stata una piccola Odissea densa di imprevisti e sorprese!
Questo è tutto: spero che i nuovi divisori vi piacciano ancora più dei precedenti!
