On a mango tree, I managed to find a black soldier fly perched on the leaves. This particular fly has a very unique appearance, and at first glance, it looks quite similar to a wasp. It is covered in deep black coloration, making its appearance look a little intimidating.

I don't know much information about this particular fly, but judging from its appearance, it is most likely completely harmless to humans. Just like most other types of flies, this one is also very fast and extremely sensitive to even the slightest movement, so getting close to it is not an easy task. After trying my best, I only managed to capture three photographs, and even those were not very satisfying, especially because I had insufficient lighting at night.

Perhaps its appearance is not particularly attractive, but this fly is very useful because it can be used as a high-protein animal feed, and some people even sell it. Capturing the beauty of this particular fly gave me a sense of personal satisfaction. Perhaps I will try photographing it during the daytime if I manage to find it again.
