Apalacris varicornis is a very beautiful species of grasshopper and this grasshopper is very interesting for entomologists and nature lovers. This grasshopper is known for its unique body shape and striking color patterns. It can be understood that this grasshopper is evidence of biodiversity and the natural beauty that is hidden behind the lushness of the universe, apart from that these grasshoppers are very active during the day, especially when the sun has not bent to the west, they are among the dense leaves so they are difficult to detect for hunting predators.

As you can see, this grasshopper has a variety of body sizes and usually reaches up to 3-5 centimeters, one of the characteristics of this grasshopper is its long antennae and striped color on its body, while its slender body shape really allows this grasshopper to camouflage with its natural environment they are like weeds and dense grass, some grasshoppers of this species are often found among grass roots, and in this case I do not yet have sufficient understanding so I do not have the courage to make a conclusion for you.

If you are an insect lover and want to see this type of grasshopper then you can go to the tropical forest, because Apalacris varicornis is usually easy to find in tropical forests and as I said at the beginning of the post, this grasshopper is more active during the day by jumping between green leaves, their presence is also considered very important for the ecosystem, especially as a food chain for hunting predators such as birds and insects that are bigger than them.
