In today's post I am back to share with you some photos of another type of butterfly. The so-called eastern blue-tailed butterfly (Euchrysops osiris) also known as everes comyntas is a common butterfly in eastern North America. This butterfly is small and is distinguished from other blue butterflies in its region by its thin and small tail. The larvae of the eastern blue-tailed butterfly eat a variety of nuts and are known to secrete a substance that is favored by several species of ants.

If this butterfly is male they have a blue color on the upper side of their wings, while females are light blue to brown or charcoal, but there are also various shades of purple and pink found in both sexes. The color of the underside ranges from bluish white to golden brown. There are two or three one the outermost often the same, black to orange chevron-shaped spots on the back of the hind wings and a tail that hangs down the innermost part of the spots.

Okay hiver friends, that's a short story that I can share on this occasion. Hopefully my hiver friends like it and this photo becomes the most beautiful photo when you see it, hopefully my post can entertain you all. Thank you very much for the support you give. I hope you have a nice day until we meet again in the next post
