Aquí estoy nuevamente para presentarles mi participación en el concurso de patchwork de la comunidad de Hive Diy, todas las participaciones son muy buenas, muchos de nosotros nunca habíamos aplicado esta técnica así que siempre se aprende y practica algo nuevo.✨

Here I am again to present you my participation in the Hive Diy community patchwork contest, all the participations are very good, many of us had never applied this technique so you always learn and practice something new.✨

Ya conocía esta técnica pero sinceramente no llamaba mucho mi atención, simplemente porque los estampados distintos en este arte me parecen una locura, yo quiero que las cosas combinen y las tonalidades sean similares entonces eso generaba cierto conflicto en mi mente. Decidí participar para intentar algo distinto a lo que estoy acostumbrada, busqué en una gran bolsa con pedazos de tela que tiene mi mamá y realicé una pequeña selección de telas con colores que pienso que combinan de cierta manera extraña.🙃

I already knew this technique but honestly it didn't call much my attention, simply because the different prints in this art seem crazy to me, I want things to combine and the shades to be similar so that generated a certain conflict in my mind. I decided to participate to try something different to what I'm used to, I looked in a big bag with pieces of fabric that my mom has and I made a small selection of fabrics with colors that I think that combine in a strange way.

A pesar de que tengo una máquina de coser, todas la piezas las cosí a mano porque estaba aburrida, es un pequeño bolso con forma de pez que pienso usar para guardar mi brillantina aunque también me parecería divertido guardar dentro de este pececito mi identificación y mi dinero porque seria muy inesperado para los demás ja ja.🐟

Even though I have a sewing machine, I sewed all the pieces by hand because I was bored, it's a little fish shaped bag that I plan to use to keep my glitter although I would also find it funny to keep inside this little fish my ID and my money because it would be very unexpected to others ha ha.

Materiales que necesitas	Materials you need
• Tela	• Fabric
• Silicón	• Silicone
• Hilo y aguja	• thread and needle
• Tijeras	• Scissors

1- Primero elaboré la forma de pez el en un papel reciclado y lo recorté en en tres piezas que sería el cuerpo la cabeza y las escamas.🐟

1- First I made the shape of the fish on a recycled paper and cut it into three pieces that would be the body, head and scales. 🐟

2- Cada lado lleva nueve escamas, entonces recorté treinta y seis piezas.🐟 Cosí todas las piezas a mano al revés y luego las voltee.🐟 Para que quedaran lisas las planche.

2- Each side carries nine scales, so I cut out thirty-six pieces.🐟 I sewed all the pieces by hand inside out and then flipped them over.🐟 To make them smooth I ironed them.

3- Comencé a coser las piezas poco a poco y cuando finalicé utilicé un poco de silicón para pegarlas y no se viera la costura debajo.💙

3- I started to sew the pieces little by little and when I finished I used some silicone to glue them together so that the seam would not show underneath.💙

4- Recorte dos piezas de la cabeza junto con dos rectángulos de color rosado, los doble a la mitad y lo cosí.

4- I cut out two pieces of the head together with two pink rectangles, folded them in half and sewed them together.

5- Cosí el cuerpo y la parte que seria la cabeza primero y luego uní ambas partes.💙

5- I sewed the body and the part that would be the head first and then joined both parts together.💙

6- finalmente puse dentro de la tela rosada una cinta de encaje para abrir y cerrar la boca del pez.🐟

6- finally I put inside the pink fabric a lace ribbon to open and close the fish's mouth.🐟

Espero te haya gustado este lindo pececito pues he tardado una eternidad armando todas las piezas. Las personas que se dedican a este arte son increíbles, se necesita una gran cantidad de paciencia y dedicación para elaborar piezas muchísimo mas complejas que esta, me he puesto en internet a ver la cantidad de cosas que se pueden realizar con simples pedazos de tela que muchos suelen botar y me deja sin palabras. Es una técnica que también ayuda mucho a reciclar al máximo lo cual me parece excelente.♻

I hope you liked this cute little fish because it took me forever to assemble all the pieces. The people who are dedicated to this art are incredible, it takes a lot of patience and dedication to make pieces much more complex than this, I've been on the internet to see the amount of things that can be done with simple pieces of fabric that many tend to throw away and it leaves me speechless. It is a technique that also helps a lot to recycle to the maximum which I think is excellent.♻

Muchas gracias a esta comunidad por sacarnos de nuestra zona segura y alentarnos poco a poco a participar en iniciativas distintas, porque sinceramente yo no me hubiera animado hacer esta manualidad ya que no me parecía nada atractiva, fueron todas las publicaciones de mis compañeros que me alentaron, he visto bolsos, fundas de teléfonos, manteles, etc.
