To make cotillion bags in printed fabrics of different colors, these fabrics are of 1 meter each one, where for each meter 6 bags were made.
The fabric is very good ideal for these bags or to make sets or dresses for girls.
I made several, since these were for the culmination of my daughter's school year, where the teacher wanted each student to receive her cotillion, but it had to be something durable, and not a paper bag, which would be thrown away later.
That's why she preferred something that they can continue to use later on, it is also useful not only for candy or sweets, but also to carry anything like clothes, notebooks, toys, among others.
Its elaboration is very easy, and with the materials in hand we are going to see the process of these cute little bags, which are a souvenir.
Elaborar bolsitos de cotillones en telas estampadas de diferentes colores, estas telas son de 1 metro cada una, donde por cada metro salieron 6 bolsitos.
La tela es muy buena ideal para estos bolsitos o para hacer conjuntos o vestidos de niñas.
Hice varios, ya que estos fueron para la culminación del año escolar de mi hija, donde la maestra quiso que cada alumno recibiera su cotillón, pero que fuera algo duradero, y no una bolsita de papel, que botarían luego.
Es por eso que prefirió algo que ellos luego puedan seguir usando, tambien sirve no sólo para las chucherías o dulces, sino para llevar cualquier cosa como ropa, cuadernos, juguetes, entre otros.
Su elaboración es muy fácil, y con los ,materiales en la mano vamos a ver el proceso de estos lindos bolsitos, que son un recuerdo.
The measurements are 30 cm wide and 36 cm long. I cut out all the little bags from the different fabric designs.
To start sewing them, I place on each side at the bottom a handle where the cord or ribbon will go through. Or this cord or ribbon can also be sewn directly inside the sides of the bag, that is to say, this way it would be more secure or reinforced.
After placing these handles on each corner of the bottom part of the bag, I sew the seam on each side.
For the top I make a double and pass the seam, this double I do separately for the front and back, leaving a space of 1cm to pass the cord.
Las medidas son de ancho 30 cm, por largo 36 cm, voy cortando todos los bolsitos de los diferentes diseños de tela.
Para empezar a coserlos, le coloco a cada lado en la parte inferior un asa por donde pasará el cordón o cinta. O tambien éste cordón o cinta puede ir cosido directamente dentro de los costados del bolsitos, es decir así sería más seguro o reforzado.
Luego de colocar estas asas en cada esquina de la parte debajo del bolso, paso la costura a cada lado.
Para la parte de arriba hago un dobles y paso la costura, este dobles lo hago por separado por la parte del frente y atrás, dejando espacio de 1cm para poder pasar el cordón.

El proceso de esta elaboración o confección de estos bolsitos son rápidos, ya que con simples costuras rectas, a cada lado, se va cerrando el bolsito. Y solamente haciendo el dobles de la tela para poder poner su cintas o cordón.
Cada bolsito, lleva aproximadamente 2,5 cm de largo de cinta o cordón.
All the children were very happy with their cotillion, as each representative was in charge of filling them with their children's favorite trinkets. All the representatives also liked these cotillions, as they are durable.
Todos los niños quedaron muy contentos por su cotillon, ya que cada representante se encargó de llenarlos con las chucherias favoritas de sus hijos. Todos los representantes tambien le gustaron estos cotillones, ya que son duraderos.
