El día de hoy les comparto una serie de Fan Art de una de las series animes más reconocidas de los años 80 y 90 llamados Los Thundercats, una serie de televisión que tanto me encantaba cuando era pequeño y que no me perdía ningún capítulo, aunque hayan pasado los años sin volver a verlos, todavía recuerdo a algunos personajes.
En este caso, mi dibujo está inspirado en uno de mis personajes favoritos, como lo es León-O, el líder del equipo gatuno de los Thundercats.
El estilo de mi dibujo es el Pixel Art y le agregué algunos detalles extras de mi estilo como lo es el medieval, barbudo y cabelludo, este dibujo lo quise hacer de manera que el personaje representara la ira al ver a los malos hacer de las suyas para acabar con lo bueno del mundo.

Today I share with you a series of Fan Art of one of the most recognized anime series of the 80's and 90's called The Thundercats, a TV series that I loved so much when I was a child and I did not miss any chapter, although the years have passed without seeing them again, I still remember some characters.
In this case, my drawing is inspired by one of my favorite characters, as is León-O, the leader of the Thundercats cat team.
The style of my drawing is Pixel Art and I added some extra details of my style such as the medieval, bearded and hairy, this drawing I wanted to do so that the character represents the anger to see the bad guys doing their thing to end the good in the world.

Para poder realizar este dibujo, primero comencé con un boceto de la pose que tenía en mente, como quería que el personaje inspirara la ira, lo hice en posición frontal para poder observar el sentimiento que transmite este dibujo, lo que ustedes ven en la primera captura del lado izquierdo, es como se ve el dibujo sin las herramientas que el programa de dibujo tiene, es decir, que toda la primera parte fue realizado a pulso, en digital tener un pulso perfecto es muy complicado para mi jajaja
Ahora, del lado derecho, podemos observar el Lineart, con líneas mucho más prolijas, trabajadas minuciosamente con las herramientas del programa, en esta parte uso un poco el ratón de mi ordenador, ya que usar las herramientas con el lápiz táctil es muy complicado con el pulso que tengo.

To be able to make this drawing, first I began with a sketch of the pose I had in mind, as I wanted the character to inspire anger, I did it in frontal position to be able to observe the feeling that this drawing transmits, what you see in the first capture of the left side, is how the drawing looks like without the tools that the drawing program has, that is to say, that all the first part was made with my hand, in digital having a perfect hand is very complicated for me hahaha.
Now, on the right side, we can see the Lineart, with much more neat lines, worked meticulously with the tools of the program, in this part I use a little the mouse of my computer, since to use the tools with the tactile pencil is very complicated with the pulse that I have.

Al terminar completamente el boceto, comencé a valorizar mi dibujo, usando tonos claros y un poco llamativos para que al momento de darle profundidad al dibujo se pueda apreciar el fantástico efecto que le agregaré más adelante.
Después comencé a trabajar en las profundidades del cabello, siempre comienzo por esta parte porque es lo que más me toma el tiempo en hacerlo, ya que por lo demás es mucho más fácil, esto es debido a que el cabello tiene reflejos que hacen que tenga mucho volumen, ya que tiene 4 tipos de tonos, el color base, reflejos, iluminación y profundidad, estos 4 elementos hacen que los dibujos tengan ese efecto para que sean llamativos, eso y las expresiones del rostro del personaje.

When the sketch was completely finished, I started to enhance my drawing, using light tones and a little bit flashy so that when giving depth to the drawing you can appreciate the fantastic effect that I will add later.
Then I began to work on the depths of the hair, I always start with this part because it is what takes me the most time to do it, since otherwise it is much easier, this is because the hair has reflections that make it have a lot of volume, since it has 4 types of tones, the base color, reflections, lighting and depth, these 4 elements make the drawings have that effect to be striking, that and the expressions of the character's face.

Al terminar con esa parte del dibujo, comencé a trabajar con las expresiones del rostro, usando el color negro para reflejar oscuridad y molestia del personaje, últimamente he estado practicando hacer barbas en este estilo pixelado, para poder crear personajes con miradas más sorprendentes que inciten la ira, ya que estos personajes medievales siempre están preparados para la guerra, por supuesto, la parte medieval lo agregue yo porque es mi estilo.
Al terminar con el proceso del rostro, comencé a trabajar con las profundidades de la armadura, el cual hay algunas cosas que tuve que trabajar con un poco más de tiempo para darle un efecto de sobresaliente de algunas decoraciones que tiene esta armadura.

When I finished with that part of the drawing, I started to work with the expressions of the face, using the black color to reflect darkness and annoyance of the character, lately I've been practicing making beards in this pixelated style, to be able to create characters with more surprising looks that incite anger, since these medieval characters are always prepared for war, of course, the medieval part I added it because it's my style.
When I finished with the process of the face, I started to work with the depths of the armor, which there are some things that I had to work with a little more time to give an outstanding effect of some decorations that this armor has.
Poco a poco fui agregándole el efecto de sombreado y profundidad a algunas partes del cuerpo, como por ejemplo los brazos, para simular la fuerza y la corpulencia del personaje, hice este efecto al estilo comic para darle ese toque llamativo.
También ajuste algunas iluminaciones tanto del rostro como el cabello y la armadura para darle un poco más de volumen, el resultado final fue tan sorprendente para mí que me encanto mucho, a veces como dibujante y como exigente que somos algunas veces con nosotros mismos, terminamos un poco insatisfechos por los trabajos que hacemos, pero cuando hacemos todo de manera minuciosa y tomándonos nuestro tiempo, los dibujos nos quedan tan asombrosos que nos sentimos llenos a la hora de terminar un trabajo.
De esta manera, pude realizar mi dibujo con un aproximado de 15 horas de trabajo, las cuales fueron distribuidas por días conformes el tiempo disponible que tenía en algunos momentos.

Little by little I added the effect of shading and depth to some parts of the body, such as the arms, to simulate the strength and corpulence of the character, I did this effect in a comic style to give it that striking touch.
I also adjusted some illuminations of the face, hair and armor to give it a little more volume, the final result was so surprising for me that I loved it, sometimes as a draftsman and as demanding as we are sometimes with ourselves, we end up a little dissatisfied with the work we do, but when we do everything in a thorough way and taking our time, the drawings are so amazing that we feel full when we finish a job.
In this way, I was able to make my drawing with approximately 15 hours of work, which were distributed by days according to the available time I had at some moments.
