Greetings to everyone in the Hive DIY community, lately I’ve been really excited about the idea of making macramé keychains because I find them really cute to show off wherever I go with my keys 😄, plus we’re in the month of October so I found even more inspiration due to Halloween, that’s why I wanted to do something with a dark theme and cute at the same time, that’s how I found a Pixel art design and decided to bring it to work with threads, I hope you like it.

- Hilo acrílico para crochet: morado, negro, azul marino, gris oscuro, gris claro, blanco, vinotinto y marrón.
- Palito de plástico

Proceso / Process
El patrón consta de 28 cuadros en horizontal , esto significa que se necesitan 28 hilos guía, también tiene 38 cuadros en vertical lo que equivale a igual número de hileras de nudos, porque cada cuadro representa un nudo, como el patrón usa tres tonalidades de gris y yo solo tengo hilos gris oscuro y gris claro, decidí sustituir el tono más oscuro por hilo azul marino, de igual modo el fondo de color lila lo sustituí por hilo morado oscuro.
The pattern consists of 28 horizontal squares, this means that 28 guide threads are needed, it also has 38 vertical squares which is equivalent to the same number of rows of knots, because each square represents a knot, as the pattern uses three shades of gray and I only have dark gray and light gray threads, I decided to replace the darkest shade with navy blue thread, in the same way I replaced the lilac background with dark purple thread.

Con el hilo morado corté 14 hebras de 25 cm, tomé las hebras por la mitad y las anudé al palito de plástico, ubicando el garfio para llavero en el centro, de ese modo se obtienen los 28 hilos guía.
With the purple thread I cut 14 strands of 25 cm, I took the strands in half and tied them to the plastic stick, placing the keychain hook in the center, that way you get the 28 guide threads.
Agregué el hilo anudador morado para hacer la primera hilera de nudos, la técnica consiste en que el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada uno o de los hilos guía, de izquierda a derecha en la primera hilera y en todas las impares, de derecha a izquierda en las hileras pares, a partir de la segunda hilera agregar el hilo anudador negro y en las siguientes los otros colores según corresponda en el patrón, los cambios de color se hacen cruzando las hebras por detrás.
I added the purple knotting thread to make the first row of knots, the technique consists of the knotting thread wrapping twice around each of the guide threads, from left to right in the first row and in all the odd rows, from right to left in the even rows, starting with the second row add the black knotting thread and in the following rows the other colors as appropriate in the pattern, the color changes are made by crossing the strands from behind.
Al finalizar la última hilera de nudos, agrupar las hebras de cuatro partes, con hilo gris hacer un nudo en cada parte, cortar para emparejar las hebras. Cortar los extremos del palito de plástico y quemar con el encendedor, pegar el retazo de tela por la parte posterior con el silicón.
After finishing the last row of knots, group the strands in four parts, with gray thread tie a knot in each part, cut to match the strands. Cut the ends of the plastic stick and burn with the lighter, glue the fabric scrap on the back with silicone.
