Como siempre realizando cualquier actividad y artesania, reciclando entre otras, hoy quiero mostrarles como hice un pañal reciclado para adultos, ya que esto es para customizar los gastos en pañales cuando lo requiere ya un adulto mayor, que se encuentre en condiciones de no poder controlar sus esfinteres, por muchas razones. Haciendo este pañal reciclado requerido por una gran amiga, para un familiar, y claro hay que aprender hacer de todo un poco a si que manos a la obra.

As always doing any activity and craft, recycling among others, today I want to show you how I made a recycled diaper for adults, since this is to customize diaper expenses when required by an older adult, who is in a position to not be able to control their sphincters, for many reasons. Tela de cobija.
tela de franela.
Plastico para pañales.
Elasticas.
Cierre mágico.
Hilos, agujas, alfileres, tijera, maquina de coser.
Patron.

My materials:
blanket cloth
flannel fabric
Plastic for diapers.
Elastics.
Magic closure.
Threads, needles, pins, scissors, sewing machine.
Pattern.

Para poder realizar este pañal para una adulta mayor, utilicé como patron una pantaletas de esas grandes, ideal para poder sacar este patron.
Generalmente esta cintura media 110cm, y de alto 120cm desde el frente y la parte de atras.

To be able to make this diaper for an older adult, I used one of those big panties as a pattern, ideal to be able to make this pattern.
Usually this average waist 110cm, and high 120cm from the front and the back.

Una vez sacado el patron, lo coloco sobre la tela, tanto de cobija como la de franela y luego con el plastico, y asi corto estas tres telas, para un mejor acolchado.

Once the pattern is out, I place it on the fabric, both blanket and flannel, and then with the plastic, and so I cut these three fabrics, for better padding.

Este plastico tiene de un lado como una tela muy delgada, que es la que va por dentro, por eso hay que colocarle una sobre tela para que no se sienta tan caliente o roce la piel.

This plastic has a very thin fabric on one side, which is the one that goes inside, that's why you have to place one on top of the fabric so that it doesn't feel so hot or rub against the skin.

La parte trasera de la cintura la corte un poco mas larga, para que pueda cubrir bien donde se colocara el cierre mágico.

Como hice dos pañales, uno quedo mas largo que el otro, pero igual son adaptables a la cintura.

Since I made two diapers, one was longer than the other, but they are still adaptable to the waist.

Antes de armar, con la tela de franela a esta solamente le hice como un bolsillo largo, por donde colocar el absorbente, para que no se ruede o mueva cuando se lo coloquen a la adulta mayor.

Before assembling, with the flannel fabric I only made it like a long pocket, through which to place the absorbent, so that it does not roll or move when it is placed on the older adult.

Con el patron ya listo sobre las telas cortando a la medida para luego coserlas.

With the pattern already ready on the fabrics, cutting to size and then sewing them.

Colocando todas una sobre la otra, voy cosiendo todo alrededor dejando solamente una abertura para poder voltear, pero antes, tambien le cosi la elastica que va entre las piernas, y en la cintura.
Así pegada la elastica entonces procedo a voltear la panty por el costado que deje abierto.

Placing all one on top of the other, I sew everything around, leaving only an opening to be able to turn, but before, I also sewed the elastic that goes between the legs, and at the waist.
Thus glued the elastic then I proceed to turn the panty on the side that I left open.

Luego que tengo ya casi listo esta parte, paso la sobre costura por todo alrededor de el pañal, cosiendo tambien la abertura para que quede todo cerrado.

After I have this part almost ready, I pass the overseam all around the diaper, also sewing the opening so that everything is closed.

Hice la parte absorbente con la misma tela de cobija y por dentro la coloque doble tela.

I made the absorbent part with the same blanket fabric and inside I placed double fabric.

Por ultimo tomo la medida en donde colocar el cierre mágico, en la parte de la cintura, que es la que va a prensar y ajustar cuando se lo coloquen.

Finally I take the measurement where to place the magic closure, in the part of the waist, which is the one that will press and adjust when it is placed.

Asi quedaron los dos pañales, listos para usarlos.

This is how the two diapers were, ready to use.
