No sé si a mis amigos hivers venezolanos les esté pasando igual, pero a mí no se me quita la sensación de estar esperando algo que no sé que es. Lo que es muy negativo para mí porque en muchos años, desde que estoy en hive no había tenido un bloqueo creativo significativo. Sin embargo, les digo que tengo muchas ganas de seguir creando solo que mi mente se desvía del camino apenas comienzo.

En la madrugada me levanté, dejé la pensadera, tomé los hilos y puse manos a la obra para elaborar un tapete que ya tenía en mente. No es este precisamente el color que iba a tejerlo, pero ahora que lo veo me quedó bonito. Permítanme comentarles sobre los detalles.
MATERIALES UTILIZADOS:
🪡 Hilo de algodón (pabilo) color fucsia.
🧶 Aguja de crochet de 2,25mm.
🪡 Perlas número 6.
🧶 Tijeras.

In the early morning I got up, left the thinker, took the yarns and got to work to make a rug that I had in mind. This is not exactly the color I was going to weave it, but now that I see it, it looks nice. Let me comment on the details.

PROCESO PARA LA ELABORACIÓN:
Me está gustando empezar a tejer 🧶 a las horas en que mis compañeros de tejido digitales están conectados haciendo LIVE porque me animo muchísimo viéndolos y escuchando sus conversaciones con otros tejedores. Esta madrugada me sentí muy bien acompañada con un amigo mexicano cuyo nombre de usuario es Tejiendoconangel. Ellos se conectan tarde porque en México hay unas horas de diferencia y siempre es mucho más temprano para ellos, pero esta vez me vez fue oportuno encontrarlo para mantenerme activa con mi tejido.
🧶 Empecé humedeciendo la punta del hilo de algodón. Esto para afilarlo y empezar a pasarlo por las perlas en total coloqué 26 perlas, aunque sólo usé 24. Me gusta siempre colocar más por si se presenta algún accidente no tener que cortar el hilo para poner más.
PROCESS FOR THE MAKING:
I'm liking to start knitting 🧶 at times when my digital knitting buddies are online doing LIVE because I get so much encouragement watching them and listening to their conversations with other knitters. This early morning I was in great company with a Mexican friend whose username is Tejiendoconangel. They connect late because in Mexico there is a few hours difference and it is always much earlier for them, but this time it was timely for me to find him to keep me active with my knitting.
🧶 I started by wetting the tip of the cotton yarn. This to sharpen it and start running it through the beads in total I placed 26 beads, although I only used 24. I always like to place more so if an accident occurs I don't have to cut the yarn to put more on.

🧶 Sobre esos 24 puntos tejí empezando con 3 cadenas que sería el primer punto alto. Después en el siguiente punto tejí 2paj, luego 1pa, 2 cadenas y repito 1pa, 2paj,1pa. De esta manera se empieza a formar el diseño del tapete. En total tejí 6 grupos de puntos altos siguiendo el patrón.
🧶 On those 24 stitches I knitted starting with 3 chains which would be the first high stitch. Then in the next stitch I knit 2paj, then 1pa, 2 chains and repeat 1pa, 2paj,1pa. This is how the design of the mat begins to form. In total I knit 6 groups of high stitches following the pattern.

🧶 En la cuarta vuelta tejí empezando con 3cadenas, 2pa,1c, 2pa, 3c, 1pb, 3c y repito. Hasta completar toda la vuelta. Aquí ya se van formando unos arcos al lado del diseño principal.

Luego 3c, 1pb, 3c, pasamos la perla, 1pd, 3c, picot, 5c, 1pb, repetimos el proceso para el picot con la perla tres veces más. Y sobre el grupo de cuatro puntos altos cerrados juntos hacemos otro picot con perla. Siempre incorporando una perla antes de cerrarlo.
🪡 Row number seven which will be the last row is knit as follows: we start with 3c, 3paj (to group the 4stitches) over that slipped stitch we knit a picot stitch of 3c (1c we pass the pearl, pd, 2c and hook in the first chain we knitted). Then 3c, 1pb, 3c, pass the pearl, 1pd, 3c, picot, 5c, 1pb, repeat the process for the picot with the pearl three more times. And on the group of four high stitches closed together we make another picot with pearl. Always incorporating a pearl before closing it.
🙋🏽♀️ Para finalizar tejemos 1pd, cortamos el hilo y escondemos por detrás del tejido esa hebra sobrante. Como pueden ver el resultado es muy bonito. Este tapete lo voy a usar también para cubrir mi taza 😃 a veces dejo el café a la mitad porque me voy a hacer otras cosas, así que usaré el tapete también como tapita 😁 ¿Qué les pareció mi creación nocturna? ¿Linda verdad?

I'm going to use this mat also to cover my mug 😃 sometimes I leave the coffee in the middle because I'm going to do other things, so I'll use the mat also as a cover 😁 What did you think of my night creation?
