Hola amigos de esta hermosa comunidad, es la primera vez que subo contenido aquí pero después de ver tan hermosos trabajos que ustedes han compartido me sentí lo suficientemente animada para compartir el mío, se trata de una hermosa blusa que hice para mi hija, completamente cosida a mano porque en casa no cuento con máquinas de coser, así que si quieren ver el proceso acompáñenme en esta publicación.
First I spread the white fabric on the bed to measure it, the fabric I am using is cotton.
En primer lugar extendí la tela blanca sobre la cama para medirla, la tela que estoy usando es algodón
Then I began to cut. From the white fabric I needed 80 centimeters wide (because later we will fold it and it will be 40 cm in half) and 60 centimeters long, which when folded will be reduced to 30 cm.
Posteriormente comencé a cortar. De la tela blanca necesité 80 centímetros de ancho (pues luego la doblaremos y quedará a la mitad 40 cm) y de largo 60 centímetros que al doblar se reducirán a 30 cm.
Here I started sewing the black fabric, this fabric is the one that will go on the top of the blouse. This fabric is 80 centimeters wide, I folded it in half and started sewing the edge to join, so the width was reduced to 40 cm. It is 16 cm long and when folded it is about 8 cm long. Let's say it's a small strip because it will be the top edge of the blouse.
Aquí comencé a coser la tela negra, esta tela es la que ira en la parte superior de la blusa. Esta tela mide 80 centímetros de ancho, yo la doblé a la mitad y comencé a coser el borde para unir, por lo tanto el ancho de redujo a 40 cm. Tiene 16 cm de largo y al doblar queda de unos 8 cm de largo. Digamos que es una franja pequeña porque será el borde superior de la blusa.
Then I joined both fabrics, the white and the black to start making the blouse, to be more precise I used pins, this will prevent both fabrics from moving when sewing, and as you can see I folded the fabrics, so the amount of centimeters was reduced, as I said at the beginning, this is done with the aim that it is no longer necessary to make a hem and the piece is with a better finish.
Posteriormente uní ambas telas, la blanca y la negra para comenzar a hacer la blusa, para poder ser más precisa usé alfileres, esto evitará que ambas telas se muevan a la hora de coser, y tal como pueden ver doblé las telas, por lo tanto la cantidad de centímetros se redujo, tal como les dije al inicio, esto se hace con el objetivo de que ya no sea necesario hacer un ruedo y la pieza queda con un mejor acabado.
Once I joined the fabrics together I turned the piece over so that the seam was hidden on the inside, then I folded both again but this time lengthwise, i.e., to make it go around the circumference of the torso, and secured with pins to prevent the fabrics from moving. It is important to use the same color thread as the fabric you are going to sew, I for example used black thread on the black part and white on the white fabric, this way you will get a better finish of the garment.
Una vez que uní las telas volteé la pieza para que la costura quedara oculta en el interior, luego volví a doblar ambas pero esta vez a lo largo, es decir, para hacer rodear la circunferencia del torso, y aseguré con alfileres para evitar que las telas se movieran. Es importante usar el hilo del mismo color de la tela que vas a coser, yo por ejemplo usé hilo negro en la parte negra y blanco en la tela blanca, de esta manera obtendrás un mejor acabado de la prenda.
Now we are going to make an important part of the blouse, I cut a black stripe 1 meter long and 4 centimeters wide, folded the width in half, sewed leaving a centimeter margin to reduce it to 3 centimeters and then turned it over using a wooden stick.
Ahora vamos a realizar una parte importante de la blusa, yo corté una franja negra de 1 metro de largo y 4 centímetros de ancho, doble el ancho a la mitad, cosí dejando un centímetro de margen para reducirlo a 3 centímetros y posteriormente lo volteé usando un palito de madera.
Now we come to an important part, I took the blouse and as you can see in the photos, after folding in half I began to sew along the length to join it, which gave me two tabs, and as you can see in the second photo I folded one tab on the left and another on the right to sew on both sides, in this way we will form a space through which we will insert the black strip that we made in the previous step.
Ahora llegamos a una parte importante, tomé la blusa y tal como pueden ver en las fotos, después de doblar a la mitad comencé a coser a lo largo para unirla con lo cual obtengo dos pestañas, y tal como ustedes pueden ver en la segunda foto doblé una pestaña a la izquierda y otra a la derecha para coser a ambos lados, de esta manera formaremos un espacio a través del cual meteremos la tira negra que hicimos en el paso anterior.
Just as I told you, in that space we will insert the black strip, I used a safety pin to make the process easier, this strip will be used to adjust the blouse and the design is very nice
Tal como les dije, en ese espacio meteremos la tira negra, yo usé un alfiler imperdible para que fuese más fácil el proceso, esta tira servirá para ajustar la blusa y el diseño queda muy lindo
As you can see, there are several ways to wear this blouse by adjusting the strap, including tying it in the front to make it strapless.
Tal como pueden ver, hay diversas maneras de usar esta blusa ajustando la tira, incluso que puede amarrar al frente para convertirla en estrapless
