Greetings creative community and crafting friends, I wish you are enjoying good health and have an excellent week with God's blessing, this time I share the making of a top inspired by Halaran Huntress, a land monster from the Splinterlands cards. The character combines in her costume several shades of blue and turquoise, among other colours, to make the top I took as reference the royal blue and turquoise in the elastic bias.
Saludos comunidad creativa y amigos artesanos, deseo se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud y tengan una excelente semana con la bendición de Dios, en esta ocasión comparto la elaboración de un top inspirado en Halaran Huntress, un monstruo de tierra de las cartas de Splinterlands. El personaje combina en su vestuario varios tonos de color azul y turquesa, entre otros colores,para hacer el top tomé como referencia el color azul rey y turquesa en el sesgo elástico .

Making the top is a simple process, this time I didn't use the buttoning technique, the elastic bias binding of moritas will cover the seams on the right side. I started by marking the pieces; cups, bottom and straps.

Hacer el top es un proceso sencillo, en esta oportunidad no usé la tecnica del embonado, el sesgo elástico de moritas cubrirá las costuras por el derecho. Inicié marcando las piezas; copas, trasero y tiras.
Once the pieces were cut, I joined the cups right sides together, with a straight seam in the centre of approximately five (5) centimetres, a sufficient margin to stick the bias binding.
Cortadas las piezas uní las copas enfrentando los derechos, con una costura recta en el centro de aproximadamente cinco (5) centímetros, un margen suficiente para pegar el sesgo.
Once the front part was assembled, I sewed the strips, which are thirty (30) centimetres long by two (2) centimetres wide, right sides together, turned them inside out and glued them to the top of the cups.

The next step was to glue the back together, for this I pinned and faced the front and back pieces right sides together and sewed with a straight stitch.

I then attached the strips to the back, leaving two (2) centimetres on each side from the centre.

To finish I glued the bias binding all around the top, with a lingerie stitch, right sides together and stretching one (1) centimetre of bias binding every four (4) centimetres, then I turned the previous seam inside out, so that the bias binding is facing outwards, and I sewed a seam allowance, so a beautiful and comfortable top inspired by Halaran Huntress is finished.
Para finalizar pegué el sesgo por todo el contorno del top, con puntada de lencería, enfrentando los derechos y estirando un (1) centímetro de sesgo cada cuatro (4) centímetros, luego volteé la costura anterior por el revés, de tal forma que las moritas o adornos del sesgo queden hacia afuera y pasé una costura para repisar, así está termindo un hermoso y cómodo top inspirado en Halaran Huntress.
Regularly the tops that I have made in recent months have been with the embonado or hidden seam technique, which I really like for the neat finish, on this occasion I decided to use the moritas bias that also allows a nice result and also a small decoration for the top that adds a fresh and youthful style.
Regularmente los top que he hecho en los últimos meses han sido con la técnica del embonado o costura escondida, que me gusta mucho por el acabado prolijo, en esta ocasión decidí usar el sesgo de moritas que permite también un lindo resultado y además un pequeño adorno para el top que agrega un estilo fresco y juvenil.
