Saige Colon – ID: 1778 - Back Story
When the monsters came out of the sewers and attacked the skateboard park, Saige didn't know what to do. She didn’t have a skateboard, she had never had one, believing that this sport was not for her.
She was in the park by pure chance, just walking around to get somewhere else, when the monsters started attacking. The boys and girls who were skating started to escape, but many monsters were very fast and caught them. Saige froze for a moment, not knowing what to do. She started running, but the monsters started chasing her and she knew that she couldn't escape that way… so she took the first skateboard she saw. Maybe it was from one of the boys who had already been captured by the monsters.
Saige got on and started skating. She surprised herself by doing so, because of her innate ability. She would never have guessed it and yet she was there, dodging obstacles and monsters alike.
On her way, she saw that one of the monsters was grabbing a boy by the legs, so she sped towards them and, making an impressive leap, hit the monster in the face so hard that it made him let go of the boy. The monster backed away and the boy was able to escape.
That was just the first. Saige continued to hit monsters, using her great abilities to advantage. She hit so many monsters that soon they all started dodging her and some even returned to the sewers.
After several minutes, the park was monster-free again and all the skaters had been saved. Everyone congratulated her and asked her where she had learned to do all those things, but she did not answer. She had no idea where those abilities had come from, but now that she knew she had them, she would use them.
This is how Saige Colon became a skateboarder and, from time to time, a monster slayer!
