Very good morning my dear readers, welcome once again to my artistic blog, today I want to share with you a new work to the Vampiristico style, it is Rouina, The Temptation of Fresh Blood, Rouina was a young and gentle girl who until recently lived an ordinary life, unfortunately a terrible accident left her on the verge of death and that was why an old friend of her parents which is one of the last Vampires that still inhabit the earth decided to convert her to preserve her life. The process of becoming a Vampire was very painful for Rouina, but now she faces the biggest challenge of her life and that is to control her now insatiable thirst for blood, since she was such a pure person that she never imagined having to hurt others to stay alive. Muy Buenos días mis queridísimos lectores, sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog artístico, hoy quiero compartirles una nueva obra al estiro Vampiristico, se trata de Rouina, La Tentación de la Sangre Fresca, Rouina era una joven y gentil chica que hasta hace poco vivía una vida común y corriente, desafortunadamente un terrible accidente la dejo al borde la muerte y fue por ello que un viejo amigo de sus padres el cual es uno de los últimos Vampiros que aun habitan en la tierra decidió convertirla para así preservar su vida. El proceso de convertirse en Vampira fue muy doloroso para Rouina, pero lo ahora enfrenta el mayor reto de su vida y es el de controlar su ahora insaciable sed de sangre, ya que era una persona tan pura que jamás imagino tener que lastimar a otros para mantenerse con vida. PROCESS / PROCESO
I spent a long time looking at references and trying poses to get something that more or less gave her the sense I wanted for my work, I decided to create her with a pensive or reflective pose as she just took the life of a person to quench the thirst for blood that overwhelmed her. After finishing with the primary sketch I began to apply the colors to Rouina's character, for the skin I applied quite pale tones because commonly vampires have a skin tone like that; I was establishing the first colors and then on these in layers of multiplication and brightness I was creating the volume to give life to the skin.
Estuve un buen rato viendo referencias y probando poses para conseguir algo que más o menos le diera el sentido que quería para mi obra, decidí crearla con sus como con una pose pensativa o reflexiva ya que acaba arrebatar la vida a una persona para saciar la sed sangre que la abrumaba. Luego de terminar con el boceto primario allí fue que comencé a aplicar los colores al personaje de Rouina, para la piel apliqué tonos bastante pálidos pues comúnmente los vampiros tienen una tonalidad de piel así; fui estableciendo los primeros colores y luego sobre estos en capas de multiplicación y brillo fui creando el volumen para darle vida a la piel.
After finishing with the skin I continued with the painting of the lips and eyes, first for the lips I applied shades of red with a tendency to red wine colors, then in a new layer and using flat brushes I created Rouina's fangs; then I moved on to paint the eyes for which I first applied a base of medium gray for the eyeballs, and then in the inner part of the iris I used shades of red wine similar to the lips, then I added a little volume with glitter and shadows so they didn't look flat.
Luego de terminar con la piel proseguí con el pintado de los labios y los ojos, primero para los labios apliqué tonos de rojo con tendencia a los colores vino tinto, luego en una nueva capa y utilizando pinceles planos fui creando los colmillos de Rouina; posteriormente me pase a pintar los ojos para los cuales primero aplique una base de gris medio para los globos oculares, y luego en la parte interna de iris use tonos de vino tinto parecido al de los labios, luego fui añadiendo un poco de volumen con brillos y sombras para que no se vieran planos.
The hair section was where I took some time because I wanted the look to match or visually complement the theme and especially with the character of Rouina, in the end I decided to use a fairly light shade of brown as a base and then with the airbrush I created a little volume as a guide for the creation of the strands of hair; and finally I used flat brushes but extremely thin to create the strands of hair in a dispersed manner throughout the hair area.
El apartado del cabello fue donde más me tome algo de tiempo pues quería que la apariencia compaginara o se complementara visualmente con la temática y sobretodo con el personaje de Rouina, al final decidí usar un tono de marrón bastante claro como base y luego con el pincel aerógrafo fui creando un poco de volumen de guía para la creación de los mechones de cabello; ya por ultimo emplee pinceles planos pero sumamente delgados para ir creando los mechones de cabello de manera dispersa por toda la zona del pelo.
Now to give a good conclusion to my work what I did was to create a good background which complemented with the theme, the first thing was to establish a complete base of bloody red tone, then with a brush with rough texture I was distorting a little the background, all this before creating some feathers of wings floating in the back in variation of tones which I thought will be a very cool special touch for this work. Finally some layers of shadows and glows were enough to give a good finish to my drawing.
Ya para darle una buena conclusión a mi obra lo que hice fue crear un buen fondo el cual se complementara con la temática, lo primero fue establecer una base completa de tono rojo sangriento, luego con un pincel con textura rugosa fui distorsionando un poco el fondo, todo esto antes de ir creando algunas plumas de alas flotando el parte de atrás en variación de tonos lo cual me pareció que será un toque especial muy cool para esta obra. Ya por ultimo algunas capas de sombras y brillos me bastaron para darle un buen acabado a mi dibujo.
