Line Art

Para este retrato es de suma importancia definir la mayoría de los detalles de cabello y vello facial desde el LineArt, por lo que el 50% del tiempo dedicado al proceso de arte se lo llevara el trabajo de lineas, trabajare con una plumillas de 1, 3 y 5 pts. también trabajaré diferentes tipos de linea para simular lo mejor posible los detalles.

For this portrait, it is very important to define most of the details of hair and facial hair from the LineArt, so 50% of the time dedicated to the art process will be carried out by the line work, I will work with a nib of 1, 3 and 5 sts. I will also work on different types of lines to simulate the details as best as possible.

Con pinceles básicos agrego los tonos de piel pálida, labios y cabello castaño, trabajo cada color en una capa diferente para no afectar luego con las sombras y luces, también fragmento el color base la piel en tres planos, rostro, torso y brazo izquierdo, para que de esta forma no se vean alterados los valores a la hora de colocar sombras y luces.

With basic brushes I add the pale skin tones, lips and brown hair, I work each color in a different layer so as not to affect later with the shadows and lights, I also fragment the base color the skin in three planes, face, torso and left arm, so that in this way the values are not altered when placing shadows and lights.

Para finalizar el retrato, con un pincel seco y otro de dispersión, voy agregando las sombras en cada capa utilizando mascaras de recorte, luego ajustando los tonos, la opacidad y los estilos de fusión, voy generando las luces y sombras secundarias.

To finish the portrait, with a dry brush and a dispersion brush, I add the shadows on each layer using clipping masks, then adjusting the tones, opacity and blending styles, I generate the secondary lights and shadows.

Este es mi regalo por su cumpleaños numero 31, una vez más espero que este trabajo sea tan placentero de apreciar como para mi lo fue dibujar.
