You can get this graphics pen for around $50 or under depending on where you buy it and if you have a discount code. In Ukraine, it costs a little bit upwards of $100 including delivery. I bought it from the official website and it still costs a little higher.
I don't mind paying the difference since this was the best digital drawing pad I could find for a very affordable price. From online digital art forums to youtube, the XP-pen deco v1 02 has some of the best reviews.
There is more than one selling point for me personally. I initially loved that this tablet has compatibility with all windows, mac, and android. That means a lot of options for mediums to draw on.
Another thing is its active area. For such a price getting 10 inches x 6 inches of the active area is quite the bargain. I am probably going to use my laptop and the xppen deco 01 v2 is almost the size of my laptop screen which makes it easy for my brain to sync both of them.
A close second was a huion model. However, the xp-pen deco 01 v2 also comes with 8 buttons which are really handy for shortcuts. It also has pressure sensitivity and tilt. But the best part is that it has the highest positive reviews among all the other competitors in this price range.
It is going to be my substitute for traditional art. I wanted to put my money this year into getting painting supplies but I thought it'd get messy and the prices would rack up. I think the digital drawing tablet is a better option for me since I am only going to use art as therapy and relaxation.
Honestly, I loved the packaging of this product. The entire box holds the tablet, the pen, a pen holder, a glove, a screen guard, nibs for the pen, a USB to mini-USB cable, USB heads for android and mac, a few guides, a warranty card, and a thank you card.
The thank you card was a nice touch.
