Hello dear Hive and Insects of the world community. I found a striped butterfly, but couldn't take enough photos. Being so rare, I didn't want to move too fast to avoid scaring her away.
Due to its colors, it seems that it belongs to the family lycaenidae (hairstreaks, harvesters, blues, coppers), subfamily Theclinae (hairstreakks), tribe Eumaenini, genus Arawacus.
Hola querida comunidad de Hive y de Insects of the world. Encontré una mariposa a rayas, pero no pude tomar suficiente cantidad de fotos. Al ser tan rara, no quise moverme demasiado rápido para evitar espantarla.
Por sus colores, parece que pertenece a la familia lycaenidae (mechones de pelo, cosechadoras, azules, cobres), subfamilia Theclinae (mechones de pelo), tribu Eumaenini, género Arawacus.
It was on the jasmine plant and what I thought was the head was actually the back, because it has antennae-like structures on its hind wings, which seem to be a defense mechanism against predators.

The lycaenidae family is the second family of butterflies with the largest number of species (around 6,000 worldwide).
They are also called "gossamer wing" butterflies and make up 30 percent of all known butterfly species.

It has about 3 centimeters wingspan, creamy white color, with dark, black or brown stripes on the underside of the hind and forewings. Opening the wings reveals other colors: gray and bluish gray, with darker gray on the edge of the forewings, fading towards the center. The veins on the back are also grey, but darker than the rest of the wing.
Tiene unos 3 centímetros de envergadura, color blanco cremoso, con rayas oscuras, negras o marrones en la parte inferior de las alas traseras y delanteras. Al abrir las alas se ven otros colores: gris y gris azulado, con gris más oscuro en el borde de las alas delanteras, que se va degradando hacia el centro. Las venas en el dorso también son grises, pero más oscuras que el resto de la ala.
The body is bluish-gray on the thorax, fading to the forewings, and cream-white on the abdomen. The legs and antennae are cream or white and gray. On the hind wings they have black and white extensions that seem to imitate antennas or serve as a decoy against predators. These make it appear that it is facing the opposite way, tricking the animal that wants to eat them and helping them to escape.
El cuerpo es gris azulado en el tórax, difuminado hacia las alas delanteras, y blanco-crema en el abdómen. Las patas y antenas son color crema o blanco y gris. En las alas traseras tienen unas extensiones de color negro y blanco que parecen imitar antenas o sirven de señuelo contra depredadores. Estas hacen parecer que esta mirando hacia el lado contrario, engañando al animal que quiera comérselas y ayudándoles a escapar.
