FLIP-FLOP UPCYCLE
Summer is coming and I found flip flops with a plastic part I wanted removed. I liked them eventhough the plastic part on top , so I made an up cycle plan.
I started by removing the plastic part.
I used a little sharp scissors and a torn knife.
This is the slipper in the original state.
I torn alongside the side, you won’t see it later because it’s see through.
The sewing lines I also cut away.
This is the plastic part after removal.
Here you see what I wanted to achieve.
I used ribbon and finally went with white cords.
I though the ribbon was cute but not the best one to go with so the final choice was the white cords.
I really liked the outcome, and so poking forward to summer.
Which one do you like the best?
