ENGLISH CONTENT

Hello all animation lovers! One of my hobbies is independent animation, and many times, those little people who carry out their projects on their own, do so guided by their need to tell a story, learning either self-taught or in some things, after dedicate himself to studying animation. In both cases, it is always interesting to see how these artists manage to publish their animations and surprise us with striking content.

Today I come to talk to you about two super interesting pilots that I found on the Youtube platform, where I spend almost the entire day, either listening to music or Youtubers talking ha ha but I love when I enter the platform's recommendations , I see an artist's animation project, so I created this space to make them known. I hope that after knowing a little about them, you are encouraged to check them out, because they are really worth it. I chose the projects for this post: Revamped and Banditry & Skulduggery, the first is carried out by a girl as a personal project and the other, as part of her thesis for the university. Without a doubt, two fascinating motivations that are worthy of applause.

💕🦇 REVAMPED 🦇💕

In a peculiar institute, one day William arrives, a boy with a shadowy and mysterious appearance who soon attracts the attention of Callum, another student who loves superheroes, but with the opposite personality. William's: lively, happy and eager to make friends. Callum's attitude has led him to be seen as a somewhat strange boy to others, but with his determination, the boy will do everything possible to meet this mysterious boy, who apparently hides a secret.

The animation, in my opinion, is quite good, it made me think of the characters from My little Pony. I love how they managed to create the expressions and especially the gestures of the characters, that gives them quite a bit of vitality. I also liked the personality of the protagonists, once you meet them and see them interact together, you realize that they make a cute couple. This pilot is of the BL type (Romance between boys) and is no more and no less than sixteen minutes long, quite surprising in my opinion for being a work by a small team. I hope you can move forward and see how this charming friendship grows stronger until reaching the long-awaited romance (BL is my favorite genre 😚).

👹 Banditry & Skulduggery 💀

We will meet Rivier, Luzie and Bacon-T, who make up a band of outlaws, gathered thinking that their next misdeeds must have a greater impact to achieve a reputation among the rest. In the middle of their debate, they receive information about a caravan camping nearby with great treasures. Promising to be an easy robbery, the protagonists, blinded by greed, decide to accept the challenge.

The theme at first didn't seem entirely attractive to me, because I'm not into bandit or adventure stories, but as I watched the short, I became intrigued by what would happen. I really like the level of detail in the animation, especially in the backgrounds. The characters have their appeal, they are quite charismatic and make you want to see more about their adventures. Although it is a six-minute animated short, which the creator made for his thesis, it seems that he plans to continue the project in the future. Obviously, I will be on the lookout for your updates.

CONTENIDO EN ESPAÑOL

¡Hola a todos los amantes de la animación! Una de mis aficiones, es la animación independiente, siendo que muchas veces, esas personitas que sacan adelante sus proyectos por sí solas, lo hacen guiados por su necesidad de contar una historia, aprendiendo ya sea de forma autodidacta o en algunos cosas, luego de dedicarse a estudiar animación. En ambos casos, siempre es interesante ver cómo estos artistas logran publicar sus animaciones y sorprendernos con un contenido llamativo.

Hoy vengo a hablarles de dos pilotos súper interesantes que me encontré en la plataforma de Youtube, en donde me la paso casi todo el día, ya sea escuchando música o a Youtubers hablando ja ja pero adoro cuando entre las recomendaciones de la plataforma, me aparece el proyecto de animación de algún artista, así que, he creado éste espacio para darlos a conocer. Espero que luego de saber un poco de ellos, se animen a checarlos, pues realmente valen la pena. Escogí para éste post los proyectos: Revamped y Banditry & Skulduggery, el primero, es realizado por una chica como un proyecto personal y el otro, como parte de su tesis para la universidad. Sin duda, dos motivaciones fascinantes y que son dignas de aplausos.

💕🦇 REVAMPED 🦇💕

En un peculiar instituto, un día llega William, un muchacho con una apariencia sombría y misteriosa que no tarda en llamar la atención de Callum, otro estudiante amante de los super héroes, pero con la personalidad opuesta a la de William: animado, alegre y con deseos de hacer amigos. La actitud de Callum, le ha llevado a ser visto como un chico algo extraño para los demás, pero con su determinación, el chico hará hasta lo imposible por conocer a ese chico misterioso, que al parecer, esconde un secreto.

La animación a mi parecer, es bastante buena, me hizo pensar en los personajes de My little Pony. Me encanta cómo lograron realizar las expresiones y sobre todo los gestos de los personajes, eso les da bastante vitalidad. También me agradó la personalidad de los protagonistas, una vez que los conoces y los ves interactuar juntos, te das cuenta de que hacen una linda pareja. Éste piloto es de tipo BL (Romance entre chicos) y consta con nada más y nada menos que dieciséis minutos de duración, bastante sorprendente a mi parecer para ser un trabajo de un equipo pequeño. Espero que pueda seguir adelante y poder ver cómo ésta encantadora amistad, se va fortaleciendo hasta llegar al ansiado romance (el BL es mi género favorito 😚).

👹 Banditry & Skulduggery 💀

Nos encontraremos con Rivier, Luzie y Bacon-T, quienes conforman una banda de forajidos, reunidos pensando en que sus próximas fechorías, deben tener un mayor impacto para lograr hacerse con un renombre entre el resto. En medio de su debate, les llega la información acerca de una caravana acampando en las cercanías con grandes tesoros. Prometiendo ser un robo fácil, los protagonistas cegados por la codicia, deciden aceptar el reto.

El tema al principio, no me parecía del todo atractivo, porque no soy de historias de bandidos o aventuras, pero a medida que iba viendo el corto, iba quedando intrigada por lo que sucedería. Me gusta muchísimo el nivel de detalle que hay en la animación, más que nada en los fondos. Los personajes, tienen su atractivo, son bastante carismáticos y te hace querer ver más acerca de sus aventuras. A pesar de que es un corto animado de seis minutos de duración, que el creador realizó para su tesis, parece que tiene pensado seguir el proyecto en un futuro. Obviamente, estaré al pendiente de sus actualizaciones.
