Hello all animation lovers! Once again I come to recommend some projects that are available through the Youtube platform, more specifically animated pilots, which are the first episodes that are created before the animations are released, normally to promote the project. seeking patronage or public interest.

Since I had the opportunity to discover them on television, I have been fascinated by animated pilots, since once the series manages to come to light, you can see the changes that are often applied so that the series can work. These comparisons between pilot and final product are so attractive to me that I would later like to make comparisons about pilots and series that have already been broadcast. Anyway, let's talk about the animations that I want to recommend to you.

😜 Happyland Incorporated 🎡

In this first chapter titled "The New Employee", we meet a young man named James who begins to work at "the coolest theme park of all time", with the dream of one day achieving his dream of becoming a Migthy, who are part of the staff in charge of maintaining order and security in the park, wearing colorful suits in the style of the Power Ranger. Except that James seems to be a magnet for problems and extreme situations.

The pilot is nine minutes long, which I admit, goes by quite quickly due to the way in which the events of James's first day at work are narrated. Everything is chaos, but in a fun way, a complete disaster full of bizarre situations that will make you laugh at the unfortunate nature of the protagonist. I liked it a lot because of that. I like the animation, because even though it is quite simple, it is perfect for this type of comedy. Apparently, the creator got the idea from his personal experience working in a theme park and this being the pilot, I would like to know what kind of absurd situations he encountered and how the mysteries of that park will be revealed. If you want something random to laugh at, I recommend it.

🔻 VALERIAN HIGH 🔺

Luna is a fairly shy girl who has to face entering a new institute. At first, the fear of not being able to fit in makes her withdraw, but little by little she gets to know her classmates and is encouraged to find her place.

At first I didn't like the pilot at all, but then I came to appreciate it. The way Luna develops in school is quite adorable, but I think the most striking thing, without a doubt, is the animation as such. The character design is quite peculiar, being that they are all humanoid geometric shapes; but what I love about this pilot are the backgrounds, they are really beautiful. Despite not having color, the style in which they are drawn is so well cared for and detailed that it makes you look at it; Not to mention that the lack of color helps the viewer not to be completely trapped by those backgrounds and focus on the characters. I think it was a good combination. They are quite interesting seven minutes and if it became a series, I would watch it, even though the school theme is not one of my favorites.

💥 CliffSide 🤠

In a town without rules inhabited by outlaws, the constant confrontations between criminals will not be the only challenges that Waylon will have to face, a boy who is not only a questionable gunfighter, but also has overconfidence and bad temper. With a habit of not learning anything from situations, monsters are lurking and looking to feed on any outlaw who lets his guard down... or who has Waylon's bad luck.

I remember that when this eleven-minute pilot came out, it was quite popular among the groups I was in. The animation style was reminiscent of the series Star vs the forces of evil and the consecutive action scenes kept the public hooked, not to mention the spider-girl, who soon became one of the favorite characters of those. They got to see the pilot at that time. As far as I know, the project will not be continued, since its creator is immersed in another project, but at the time, CliffSide was intended to become a series. It is a shame that this is no longer the case, since its animation is quite attractive and its universe, as well as its characters, attracts quite a bit of attention. Still, you can enjoy the pilot, I recommend it.

¡Hola a todos los amantes de la animación! Una vez más vengo a recomendarles unos proyectos que se encuentran disponibles a través de la plataforma Youtube, más específicamente pilotos animados, los cuales son los primeros episodios que se crean antes de que se estrenen las animaciones, normalmente para promocionar el proyecto en busca de patrocinio o interés del público.

Desde que tuve la oportunidad de descubrirlos por televisión, me fascinan los pilotos animados, ya que una vez que la serie logra salir a la luz, se pueden apreciar los cambios que muchas veces se aplican para que las series, puedan funcionar. Esas comparaciones entre piloto y producto final, es tan atractiva para mí, que me gustaría más adelante hacer comparaciones sobre pilotos y series que ya se hayan emitido. En fin, hablemos sobre las animaciones que quiero recomendarles.

😜 Happyland Incorporated 🎡

En éste primer capitulo titulado "El nuevo empleado", conocemos a un joven llamado James que comienza a trabajar en "el parque temático más genial de todos los tiempos", con el sueño de alcanzar un día su sueño de volverse en un Oficial poderoso, los cuales son parte del personal encargado de mantener el orden y la seguridad del parque, llevando trajes coloridos al estilo de los Power Ranger. Sólo que James parece ser un imán para los problemas y las situaciones extremas.

El piloto tiene nueve minutos de duración que admito, pasan bastante rápido debido al modo en que se narran los hechos de éste primer día de trabajo de James. Todo es un caos, pero de forma divertida, un completo desastre lleno de situaciones bizarras que te harán reírte con lo desafortunado del protagonista. Me gustó muchísimo debido a ello. La animación me agrada, ya que a pesar de que es bastante sencilla, es perfecta para éste tipo de comedia. Según parece, el creador sacó la idea de su experiencia personal trabajando en un parque temático y siendo éste, el piloto, me gustaría saber con qué clase de situaciones absurdas se encontró y cómo los misterios de aquel parque, se irán mostrando. Si quieren algo random para reírse, se los recomiendo.

Luna es una chica bastante tímida que tiene que afrontar el ingresar a un nuevo instituto. Al principio, el miedo por no poder encajar la hace retraerse, pero poco a poco va conociendo a sus compañeros de clase y animándose a encontrar su lugar.

Al principio el piloto no fue del todo de mi gusto, pero después, supe apreciarlo. La forma en que Luna se va desenvolviendo en el instituto es bastante adorable, pero creo que lo más llamativo sin duda, es la animación como tal. El diseño de personajes es bastante peculiar, siendo que todos son formas geométricas humanoides; pero lo que amo de éste piloto, son los fondos, son realmente preciosos. A pesar de no contar con color, el estilo en el que están dibujados es tan bien cuidado y detallado, que provoca verlo; sin mencionar que la falta de color, ayuda a que el espectador no sea atrapado del todo por esos fondos y se fije en los personajes. Pienso que fue una buena combinación. Son siete minutos bastante interesantes y en el caso de volverse una serie, la vería, a pesar de que el tema escolar, no sea de mis favoritos.

En un pueblo sin reglas habitado por forajidos, los constantes enfrentamientos entre delincuentes no serán los únicos retos a los que deberá enfrentarse Waylon, un chico que no sólo es un cuestionable pistolero, sino que tiene un exceso de confianza y la mala costumbre de no aprender nada de las situaciones, los monstruos están al acecho y en busca de alimentarse de cualquier forajido que baje la guardia... o que tenga la mala suerte de Waylon.

Recuerdo que cuando salió éste piloto de once minutos, fue bastante popular entre los grupos en los que estaba. El estilo de animación, recordaba a la serie Star vs las fuerzas del mal y las consecutivas escenas de acción, mantenían al público enganchado, sin mencionar a la chica-araña, que no tardó en volverse de los personajes favoritos de quienes llegaron a ver el piloto en ese tiempo. Por lo que sé, el proyecto no será continuado, dado que su creador está inmerso en otro proyecto, pero en su tiempo, CliffSide estaba pensada para volverse una serie. Es una lástima que ya no sea así, ya que su animación es bastante atractiva y su universo, así como sus personajes, llama bastante la atención. Aún así, pueden disfrutar del piloto, se los recomiendo.
