Strangers things empieza con los niños jugando Calabozos y Dragones. El elenco de The Big Bang Theory también armaba sus campañas. Cualquier serie o película en dónde aparecieran nerds, siempre había una mención hacia esto. Además, en mis recuerdos de mi infancia te oraba, recuerdo haber visto esta serie de dibujos animados muy seguido. Y yo, como buena Geek, siempre tuve la curiosidad de saber cómo funcionaba.
Para jugar este juego lo primero que debes hacer es formar un grupo que también le guste, y lamentablemente, durante toda mi vida, no conseguí a nadie. Hasta hace un mes, que por pura casualidad, mi amigo Javier sacó unos dados en una reunión de El señor de los anillos y se prendió la emoción. Decidimos empezar a jugar. Pero no solo era jugar, era armar un grupo. Tuvimos una reunión en la que Javier nos dió una introducción, pero aún no jugamos. Después de eso, entre él y yo creamos un grupo de WhatsApp con varios amigos que también estaban interesados en aprender. Entre ellos @lunaticanto y @jauregui98.
Armado nuestro grupo, decidimos hacer nuestro primer encuentro y Javier armó una escaramuza: una partida corta que duraría un par de horas pensada solo para aprender a jugar.
Aunque tenemos un sitio que será nuestro sitio de reuniones, no pudimos acudir porque los dueños de esta casa no iban a estar. Así que decidimos reunirnos en un café que ya deben haber visto bastante por acá, Charlotte. Una sucursal que queda frente al Hesperia de Valencia. Escogimos este sitio porque podíamos reírnos fuerte y hablar mucho. Además que conseguimos una mesa perfecta para jugar y que entraríamos todos.
Cada quien escogió un juego de dados que nos proporcionó Javier, anotamos nuestras estadísticas en un papel o celular, pedimos café y empezamos a jugar.
La campaña estuvo muy, pero muy divertida, tanto, que al terminar me dolía la panza de tanto reírme. Amé todo porque pude relajarme un rato y salir de lo común junto a muy buena compañía. Me encanta el hecho de qué estaré haciendo esto cada 15 días.

Any series or movie where nerds appeared, there was always a mention of this. Also, in my childhood memories, I remember watching this cartoon series quite often. And I, as a good Geek, was always curious to know how it worked.
To play this game the first thing you have to do is to form a group that also likes it, and unfortunately, throughout my life, I didn't get anyone. Until a month ago, by pure chance, my friend Javier pulled out some dice at a Lord of the Rings meeting and the excitement started. We decided to start playing. But it wasn't just about playing, it was about building a group. We had a meeting where Javier gave us an introduction, but we didn't play yet. After that, between him and I created a WhatsApp group with several friends who were also interested in learning. Among them @lunaticanto and @jauregui98.
Once our group was set up, we decided to have our first meeting and Javier set up a skirmish: a short game that would last a couple of hours designed just to learn how to play.
Although we have a place that will be our meeting place, we could not go because the owners of this house were not going to be here. So we decided to meet at a cafe that you must have already seen a lot around here, Charlotte. A branch that is in front of the Hesperia in Valencia. We chose this place because we could laugh loud and talk a lot. Besides, we got a perfect table to play and we could all go in.
We each chose a set of dice provided by Javier, wrote down our stats on a piece of paper or cell phone, ordered coffee and started playing.
The campaign was really, really fun, so much so that by the end of it my belly was hurting from laughing so much. I loved it all because I was able to relax for a while and get out of the ordinary with great company. I love the fact that I will be doing this every 15 days.
