Hola queridos amantes de la costura, espero se encuentren de maravilla 🤗 feliz lunes de agujas, estoy muy feliz y contenta de poder estar hoy con ustedes en este Needleworkmonday para en esta oportunidad poder mostrarles mi primer proyecto WIP terminado, creo que este proyecto superó mis expectativas, inicialmente quería hacer una blusa manga kimono con un bolsillo de jean reciclado, pero luego pensé y si la colocó retazos de tela como haciendo un patchwork? Y así fuí como empecé a crear está obra de arte, el resultado fué increíble.
Hacer patchwork nunca saldrá mal, es una de las técnicas que el lo personal amo hacer pues despierta mucho mi imaginación y creatividad, además de se una técnica de provecho, yo siempre cuando retazos de telas y pienso que en algún momento los usaré.
Hello dear sewing lovers, I hope you are feeling wonderful 🤗 happy needlework monday, I am very happy and glad to be with you today in this Needleworkmonday to show you my first finished WIP project, I think this project exceeded my expectations, initially I wanted to make a kimono sleeve blouse with a recycled jean pocket, but then I thought what if I put some fabric scraps like making a patchwork? And so I started to create this work of art, the result was amazing.
Making patchwork will never go wrong, it is one of the techniques that I personally love to do because it awakens my imagination and creativity, besides being a profitable technique, I always have scraps of fabric and I think that at some point I will use them.
Una obra de arte que tiene mucho valor para mí, pues la blusa que transforme era de mi abuela y sin querer los retazos de tela me recuerdan mucho a ella. En el post pasado llegué a cortar todas las piezas de la camisa, hoy toco coser y hacer el patchwork así que sin más que comentar comencemos a trabajar.

Procedimiento. || Procedure:
Después de tener la dos piezas cortadas (Delantera y trasera), enfrentamos los derechos de ambas piezas. Y sujetamos con alfileres las hombros de la camisa, como te muestro en la imagen. Pasamos costura recta y luego zigzag para rematar la costura en los hombros.
Proseguimos enfrentando los derechos de la blusa con las mangas cosidas y vamos a pasar costura desde el borde de las mangas hasta los costados cerrando los dos lados, acostumbró a pasar costura recta y zigzag.
- After having the two pieces cut (front and back), we face the right sides of both pieces. And pin the shoulders of the shirt, as shown in the picture. We sew a straight seam and then a zigzag seam to finish the seam on the shoulders.
- We continue by facing the right sides of the blouse with the sleeves sewn and we are going to sew from the edge of the sleeves to the sides, closing both sides, using straight stitching and zigzag stitching.
- Para las mangas de la camisa hice un bobladillo y pasé una costura recta doble, antes de coser sujeté con alfileres para que la tela no se mueva.
- For the sleeves of the shirt I made a hem and sewed a double straight seam, before sewing I pinned it so that the fabric would not move.
- Utilicé el mismo cuello original de la camisa, así que lo sujeté con alfileres al contorno del cuello enfrentando derechos y luego cosí a máquina, procedí a coser en la parte externa con una costura decorativa, también cosí la etiqueta de la vieja camisa.
- I used the same original collar from the shirt, so I pinned it to the collar outline facing right sides together and then machine stitched, proceeded to sew on the outside with a decorative seam, I also sewed the label from the old shirt.
- Este paso es de libre creatividad, yo coloqué retazos de telas de diferentes texturas, colores y estampados, y para terminar coloqué un bolsillo de jean que le dió un toque único a esta camisa.
- This step is free creativity, I placed fabric scraps of different textures, colors and prints, and finally I placed a jean pocket that gave a unique touch to this shirt.

Amigos así quedó el resultado final de esta camisa con un toque de patchwork, una técnica que amo realizar, este camisa se ha convertido en una de mis favoritas, cosiendo esta camisa pensé en muchas cosas una de esas reflexiones fué, que todo tiene su tiempo, quizás si hubiera cosido está camisa hace unos años atrás no hubiera quedado tan genial, así que espero que les hay gustado este post tanto como a mí y si llegaste hasta aquí mil gracias por leerme ❤️🥰 un fuerte abrazo.
