Hello, lovely hivers! It's me, Novembees. Because I have been busy, I do not have time for blogging. But today, guys, I'm going to share my artwork with you. It showcases how I make my project about stitching 🪡 and bracelet.
Last week of November, our teacher in contemporary arts gave us a project about stitching. I already knew about it and I thought about where I could buy handkerchiefs for stitching. But my friends gave me two handkerchiefs, so I was happy because I had no problem finding some handkerchiefs.
On December 29, I started stitching using a very thin needle because it depends on the handkerchief. Actually, I really wanted to do this before Christmas, but I felt lazy. I like keeping myself in my bed with my cellphone HAHAHHA.
By the way, these are the materials for how my stitching looks like.
First, I used a pencil to draw the flowers, and then I double-stroked to make it clear when I start applying the needle to align with the handkerchief.
December 30. The day I finally finished the two flowers. Actually, this is not an easy artwork. Imagine, I started stitching on Dec 29. But one day is not enough. But if you really want good grades for your project, you can never waste time doing this.
I really focus on doing this. At least, I would finish it before class starts again. It must be submitted in January, so I will do my best to finish it. When I use the needle, my eyes feel pain because of the very little things. I'm not sure of my techniques, but I trust the process. When my artwork is finished, I really like it. I'm so happy because I can't believe this is the result.
I'm here in the room and while our teacher says we're going to copy the lessons, I want to finish today. My teacher said, 'Ok, I'll extend the deadline.' So the deadline is January 5, but I'd like to submit it today.
And here is how I make my bracelet project. The color that I like to use for the theme is sea. I like this color because it's super cute. I really like the glitters that are in the shape of stars, hearts, circles, and starfish. I am very amazed by these super glitters.
I made the bands for myself to remember my time as a grade 12 student. By the way, I ordered this set on Shopee because I didn't have a choice and I didn't have time to buy it in BOGO CITY. I realized it would be easier to buy online without any struggles.
On January 4, my order arrived at our school because I requested to have my parcel delivered there during school hours. The driver understood my instructions.
This is the final result of my bracelet. It's so simple and girly. I really like wearing it in my own artwork. It really fits any clothes I wear.
So I think that's all for today. I hope you enjoy reading this one. Take care, everyone, and see you in my next blog!
