¡Hola! Soy My Teenages. El día de hoy quiero mostrarles un pedido que me hizo mi mamá para el cumpleaños de mi hermano mayor.

Tutorial que seguí para hacer el Capibara

Mi hermano mayor estaba apunto de cumplir años y mi mamá me pidió que le hiciera un capibara amigurumi para complementar su regalo. Los capibaras son uno de los muchos animales raros que le gustan a mi hermano, de hecho creo que uno de los más normales. Para que se hagan una idea, el top 5 animales favoritos de mi hermano es el siguiente: 1. Tanuki/machape, 2. chiwire/capibara, 3. picozapato, 4. lemur, 5. dragón de Comodo.

My older brother was about to have a birthday and my mom asked me to make him a capybara amigurumi to complement his present. Capybaras are one of the many weird animals my brother likes, in fact I think one of the more normal ones. To give you an idea, my brother's top 5 favorite animals are as follows: 1. tanuki/machape, 2. chiwire/capibara, 3. picozapato, 4. lemur, 5. Comodo dragon.

Es el amigurimi más grande que he hecho hasta ahora y creo que no fue una buena elección tejer con hilo de 1 mm y aguja de 2.50. La mano después me dolió mucho, pero cuando vi el resultado me sentí muy satisfecha con el acabado tan delicado que da.

It is the biggest amigurimi I have made so far and I think it was not a good choice to knit with 1 mm yarn and 2.50 needle. My hand hurt a lot afterwards, but when I saw the result I was very satisfied with the delicate finish it gives.

En la parte de los detalles, las manos se me hicieron bastante raras; me recuerdan a unas patas de pollo y me costó amarlos por esos. Por donde sea que lo vieran eran raras, pero ya no tenía mucho tiempo para hacer algo más, ya que solo me quedaba un día para el cumpleaños. Luego, hice la taza de café, la cual originalmente era un mate, pero como nunca hemos tomado mate, ps lo cambié a un café. Al coserlo a las manitas haciendo que se unieran, logré aceptar cómo se veían.

On the detail side, the hands were pretty weird to me; they remind me of chicken feet and I had a hard time loving them for those. Everywhere you looked they were weird, but I didn't have much time to do anything else since I only had one day left until my birthday. Next, I made the coffee cup, which was originally a mate, but since we've never had mate, ps I changed it to a coffee. By sewing it to the little hands making them join, I could already accept how they looked.

Así fue como quedó. A mí en lo personal me gustó mucho y, aunque ya no haya sido sorpresa por un descuido mío, a mi hermano también le gustó su regalo y ahora el capibara adorna su escritorio. Y sí, tuvimos que envolver su regalo con papel de Navidad, jsjsjhs. Gracias por leerme y brindarme un poco de su tiempo. This is how it turned out. I personally liked it a lot and, although it was no longer a surprise because of my carelessness, my brother also liked his gift and now the capybara adorns his desk.
