[ENG-SPA] Halloween Challenge NeedleWorkMask: Skull mask 💀//Máscara de Calavera 💀

Hello #hive friends. Greetings to the #NeedleWorkMonday community. Happy Monday and start of the week.

To conclude my project of the second edition of HALLOWEEN allegorical figures I made a skull mask 💀 at the same time to participate in the Halloween Challenge NeedleWorkMask contest initiative of @irenenavarroart from the #NeedleWorkMonday community. The mask was made with black and white felt, measurements of the face were taken to make the diagram, it also has a black cloth scarf of 100x12 cms to cover the head. Without further ado, let's go to the brief explanation.

Para concluir mi proyecto de la segunda edición de figuras alegóricas de HALLOWEEN realicé una máscara de calavera 💀 al mismo tiempo para participar en el concurso de Halloween Challenge NeedleWorkMask iniciativa de @irenenavarroart de la comunidad #NeedleWorkMonday. La máscara se efectuó con fieltro color blanco y negro, se tomó medidas del rostro para hacer el diagrama, además tiene un pañuelo de tela color negro de 100x12 cms para cubrir la cabeza. Sin más preámbulo vamos a la explicación.

Step by step//Paso a paso

Materials//Materiales

• Black and white felt.
• Scissors.
• Pins.
• A rectangle of black colored fabric 100x12 cms.
• Skull diagram 💀.
• Thread and sewing needle.
• Tape measure.

• Fieltro color blanco y negro.
• Tijera.
• Alfileres.
• Un rectángulo de tela color negro 100x12 cms.
• Diagrama de calavera 💀
• Hilo y aguja de coser.
• Cinta métrica.

Process//Proceso

With the measurements of the face:

• From ear to ear = 28cms.
• From forehead to chin = 22cms.
• From ear to eye = 8cms.
• From eye to eye = 4cms.
  Taking these measurements into account, a diagram was made and inserted with pins on the felt.
• With the help of the scissors the pieces were cut.

Con las medidas del rostro:

• De oreja a oreja = 28cms.
• De frente a barbilla = 22cms.
• De oreja al ojo = 8cms.
• De ojo a ojo = 4cms.
  Tomando en cuenta dichas medidas se realizó diagrama, se insertó con alfileres sobre el fieltro.
• Con la ayuda de la tijera se cortaron las piezas.

• With the needle and thread, sew the black felt pieces onto the white felt using the scallop stitch.

• Con la aguja e hilo se cose las piezas de fieltro color negro sobre el fieltro color blanco usando el punto festón.

• With the needle and thread several cracks are embroidered on the skull.

• Con la aguja e hilo se borda varias fisuras al cráneo.

Aseembly//Ensamblado

• Then sew two strips to hold the mask to the head.
• The border is sewn to the rectangle 100x12 cm to form a scarf.

• Después se le cose dos tiras para sostener máscara a la cabeza.
• Se cose la orilla al rectángulo 100x12 cms para formar pañuelo.

Thanks to the #NeedleWorkMonday community for receiving this work, together with the initiative of our friend @irenenavarroart and thus we get our decorations and accessories to celebrate, although in our country and in my city it is not customary to celebrate these holidays. But I will humbly decorate my table and enjoy sweets and treats with my mask. Besides, it has served as entertainment and creativity, something very important in these times. I have also enjoyed participating in these challenges, I had never done it in any network before.
Another thing, I have had difficulties to make this publication, the internet connection is terrible, it has caused me a lot of stress.

Gracias a la comunidad de #NeedleWorkMonday por recibir este trabajo, aunado a la iniciativa de la amiga @irenenavarroart y así obtenemos nuestros adornos o complementos para celebrar, aunque en nuestro país y en mi ciudad no se acostumbra dichas fiestas. Pero con humildad adornaré mi mesa y disfrutaré de dulces y golosinas con mi máscara. Además, me ha servido de entretenimiento y creatividad, algo muy importante en estos tiempos. También me ha gustado participar en estos retos, nunca lo habia hecho en ninguna red.
Otra cosa, he tenido dificultades para realizar esta publicación la conexión de internet esta fatal, me ha causado mucho estrés.
