Una de las grandes ventajas de hacer diferentes trabajos en la costura es que te quedan muchos retazos los cuales puedes utilizar para una infinidad de proyectos y hoy quiero mostrarles una linda idea para hacer un lindo trabajo con la técnica del patchwork

One of the great advantages of doing different sewing jobs is that you have many scraps left over which you can use for an infinite number of projects and today I want to show you a nice idea to do a nice job with the patchwork technique
Este tipo de técnica en la costura lo podemos hacer con una gran variedad de telas, lo común es hacerlo con retazos sobrantes, pero también se puede hacer con telas nuevas de diferentes diseños, yo creo que todas las que practicamos la costura tenemos la manía de guardar hasta el más mínimo retazo de tela que nos sobra de los proyectos que realizamos, con este tipo de técnica podemos hacer infinidad de cosas como por ejemplo: bolsos, forros para muebles, o simplemente algo bonito para decorar algún sitio en nuestro hogar.
This type of sewing technique can be done with a wide variety of fabrics. It is common to do it with leftover scraps, but it can also be done with new fabrics of different designs. I think that all of us who practice sewing have the habit of saving even the smallest scrap of fabric that we have left over from the projects we do. With this type of technique we can make an infinite number of things such as: bags, furniture covers, or simply something nice to decorate a place in our home.

Step by step
Para comenzar este lindo trabajo vamos a hacer un cuadrado en una cartulina o cartón para utilizarlo como molde, este será de 12 cm por cada lado, cortaremos varios cuadrados en telas diferentes, para comenzar voy a utilizar un retazo de tela de Jean con otro retazo de tela estampado, de esta forma vamos a cortar varias combinaciones, en total voy a hacer nueve combinaciones de telas diferentes.
To begin this lovely project we are going to make a square on a piece of card or cardboard to use as a mould, this will be 12 cm on each side, we will cut several squares in different fabrics, to start I am going to use a scrap of jean fabric with another scrap of printed fabric, in this way we are going to cut several combinations, in total I am going to make nine combinations of different fabrics.
Luego comenzaremos a unir de 2 en 2, me explico: vamos a coser 2 cuadrados de diseños diferentes y le pasamos costura por todo el borde cerrando completo, luego vamos a cortar así como muestro en el dibujo de mi imagen, al abrirlo se formará otro cuadrado más grande planchamos para fijar bien.
Then we will start joining 2 by 2, let me explain: we are going to sew 2 squares of different designs and we will sew along the entire edge closing completely, then we are going to cut as I show in the drawing in my image, when opening it another larger square will be formed, we iron it to secure it well.

En total hice 9 cuadrados con este modelo de patchwork , ahora vamos a cortar tiras de tela de 5 cm de ancha, yo corté tela de color fucsia con esta uniré tres cuadrados, en mi imagen les muestro como debe quedar, Luego uniremos con una tira larga para juntar los 9 cuadrados, para esta parte utilice tira de color vino tinto
In total I made 9 squares with this model, now we are going to cut strips of fabric 5 cm wide, I cut fuchsia-colored fabric with this I will join three squares, in my image I show you how it should look, then we will join with a long strip to join the 9 squares, for this part I used a strip of red wine color
